We recently hosted my Mum?s 60th birthday party at Gimbals. Janet, Charlie and the whole team were amazing throughout. They helped us plan a perfect event, with a personalised menu and went all out to make the venue look fabulous. Our guests were all amazed at the quality of food and the fantastic service. I can?t recommend Gimbals enough. If you?re looking for somewhere truly unique to host a special event this is the place. Thank you so much team Gimbals!

I want to recommend the lovely team at Gimbals Restaurant.
I had always heard amazing things about gimbals and had always thought it was closed down. It?s actually not!! It?s just private dining now.
We booked for my 30th and from start to finish the team were amazing. You have your own floor and wait team and you don?t wait for anything.
They even liaised with my mum so she could surprise me with decoration and couldn?t do enough to make sure the experience was special and stress free.
The FOOD IS UNREAL!
If you have a special occasion coming up and you want to support a local family run business then you should 100% book. You won?t be disappointed.

A cool and quirky venue for parties. Nice decor and friendly staff.No longer a restaurant! The vegan options they provided for the party were excellent!

The brisket takeaway was quite easily there best meal of my life. A large meal so we had the main on Sunday and the rest over the next two days. If i could give ten stars I would. Superb.

We've ordered their take away meal kits a few times now, when we get friends over it's the best way to have an incredible meal at home. Couldn't recommend it more highly.Drop in at a weekend and grab handfuls of their brilliant sweet and savory treats. Just started doing sandwiches which are divine.

Last night we had a fabulous evening/party for my daughters 50th Birthday at Gimbals. Everything was very well organised from start to finish. The food and service was excellent and the whole evening was 100% Special thanks to Janet and her team for a great time Best wishes Doreen & Peter
