The most miserable staff ever. Did not say please or thanks once. Never mind good morning. Nothing inside the post office you would want to buy. No wonder local.post offices are closing with staff like this.

This is the best post office in my area by a country mile.As a business owner you always want to be up to date with any new news relating to delivery costs and Tracey Karen and all the team are always happy to help with that.We really cannot ask anymore of them they go above and beyond their duties.Always polite and friendly and very attentive with any questions or queries .Keep up the great work ladies

Unhelpful woman on left, awful woman. I live at South Kirkby always going there but the woman on left customer service bad all the time not helpful. Other lady she is alright helpful. Today was there she cannot help me and i go to South elmsall post office. Never go to South Kirkby post office anymore!!! Not happyEdit: I don't have any problems in South elmsall Post office for the same Large letter!!! It's not to large it was correct sizes not first time sending there same sizes.

Awful woman, patronising, unhelpful. I had to pay £10 Into the bank via post office this morning to buy electric. I gave the attendant £8 in 20p's and £2 in 10p's. "I can't count that" she says, "why" I asked, "it has to be a full bag of change to change it", she replied. " I don't want to change it, I want to pay it into my bank" again she said " I can't count that" so I said "ill count it for you". She wasn't happy, huffing and blowing. In a day and age where money is tight and people need to keep their jobs, she needs to have a little more patience and be grateful we are still using the Post Office. I passed her legal tender not jelly beans and if she can't count it so I can have electric in my house there is something seriously wrong. Had I given her the same money for electric tokens she wouldn't have said a word but she tried to belittle me infront of a shop full of people. Shame on you.Not the postmaster an assistant.

These Post Office workers ALWAYS charge me the most expensive service possible!!On my last visit I was charged over £12 for a service that would've only cost me £7.15 if I purchased it on the Royal Mail website.Not cricket guys, especially when times are hard and prices are going up everywhere! Shameless atrociousness!My local Post Office will offer me a choice of prices so I can decide the best value service for my needs - these Office workers could do the same but CHOOSE to instead give their customers the highest possible price and hope that he/she won't contest it!----------- Edit following their response ----------Thanks for your reply.Whilst I accept that the online prices are cheaper, they are not that much cheaper! I'm talking about a £5 difference!! You've lost my future custom, I will simply purchase my postage online - second thoughts, I couldn't trust you to put it in the correct sack!No, I think I will use a courier for my business mail in the future.

The woman that works there has been nothing but nasty and hostile to my autistic fiance, so much we would rather walk for 40 minutes to go to South Elmsall Post Office than ever go there again. Refusing to help and wanting people to leave and avoid work because "we're only open for another 10 minutes". Poor fiance has been made to cry by her nastiness

I use the post office regularly to send items abroad and within the UK. Also to send money via moneygram. Staff are very helpful, efficient and friendly, always happy to help particularly with the new rules after Brexit. Added bonus is that there is a good range of packing material and cards!

Donâ??t usually write reviews but Iâ??m going out my way to write one to warn people to stay away from this post office. The staff are rude and abrupt. Put a smile on your face???? They Clearly hate their jobs, particularly the brunette women - extremely rude and sarcastic. This place needs shutting down, it is worth traveling a mile up the road to the one in south Elmsall, staff are fantastic.

Horrible post office staff are miserable talk at you rather than to you the snotty cow behind the counter (brunette hair cut short) is rude rolls her eyes tuts and generally talks to you like trash almost like shed prefer you weren't there at all (i only go here if i have no choice if im out and a parcel of mine is taken here for me to collect) if im sending anything i drive to the one in Elmsall that's a mile or so away from this one (i only live a stones throw from this one but will not give them my custom) 1 star is too high a rating for this place

I would give more than 5 stars if the system would allow me to do so. The staff at this post office are undoubtedly the most professional and courteous that I have met when dealing with Royal Mail issues. I was at my wits end trying to chase up a Royal Mail mis-sorted parcel. When dealing with Royal Mail directly (national helpline), I received a barrage of 19th century reasons why Royal Mail were unable to help even though the parcel had tracking numbers. It appeared during the re-routing process, the parcel was not scanned enough times by the relevant Royal Mail sorting office. So, it wasn't clear if the parcel was still in the incorrect sorting office or whether it had started its journey back to the correct sorting office. There was also a sense from national customer service and the incorrect sorting office that the only option was to cross fingers and hope it finds its way to me. As I continued my quest to find this parcel, I then came across the staff at this South Kirkby post office and it was like a breath of fresh air. They took my concerns seriously and did their best to help me In short, they are absolute stars.
