Not a child friendly pub. After attending this pub yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours we were approached by one of the bar staff saying kids had to leave by 6. This was whilst we were sat outside in the public car park with no nuisance to other customers what so ever. We were only inside the pub for the last 10 mins of our visit due to the heavy rainfall.
But what I was most disappointed in was the poor attitude that both the owner and bar staff had towards ours kids, covering their ears and giving dirty looks over to not only our group but the few groups of people with kids. We were all sat in the same room and separate from other customers. Dramatic and pathetic. Pubs are dying out as it is and surely you?d think they would be appreciative of the custom but clearly not. Won?t be bothering here again.
