Growing up in Sutton I have seen the Kings Arms go through a couple of changes over the years, and I'm really impressed with it's latest transformation.
As you walk in you are greeted by the familiar feel of a typical friendly British village pub, with friendly bar staff ready to engage in conversation. The decor is both traditional and modern at the same time and the prices are reasonable.
They have all sorts of different nights on, as well as a lovely area to sit outside on the sunnier afternoons and watch the world go by, and games to play in the back room.
If you are visiting for a day, or love locally and haven't tried it out, make sure you add it to your list - you won't regret it.
Parking: There is no car park, but there is on street parking, you night just have to walk a bit. Due try and park respectfully, people who live nearby also need to park, and the narrow roads make it hard to pass sometimes.

I didn?t really rate this pub before but things have definitely improved ever since the refurbishment and the change of ownership. The King is a very friendly pub with friendly staff and it hosts events for charity. It?s also got a pool table and a darts board.

Honestly the drinks were rather expensive. The ladies were not representative of how much the drinks cost. Rather dingy looking and not the best.
