Such a friendly place and all the staff were so helpful. Fantastic selection of beautiful woods and great prices. We went to their open day and everyone including exhibitors were exceptionally nice and willing to freely give out information. We have been before pre-pandemic, but the open day has really developed into a much bigger and better event. Definitely worth a visit.

I wanted to purchase a piece of oak for a worktop.I was greeted by Jo & we went through my options & I decided to purchase my worktop that was to be cut to the exact size I wanted.Unfortunately, I needed the worktop within a week or 2 & Jo informed me it would be a longer, so I couldn't go through with the purchase. Jo then took me to the store where they have lots of great off cuts, but there still wasn't anything suitable.Although I didn't purchase anything, the company is spot on & try their best to help. I'll definitely use them in future. Thanks Jo

Excellent service and great product. We miscalculated amount of flooring we needed. One phone call and it was sorted out. And delivered within a week. Highly recommend using British hardwoods.

The solid oak floor boards are excellent and lay well. They look fantastic once installed. The boards below were brushed and fumed, which completely matched the feel of tge cottage.

I didnt actually buy anything from this company as the courier service messed up and I needed the beading urgently. They chased up the order and when unable to find it they issued a refund immediately. Really quick response and top customer service.

I just got back from a 120mile round trip and it was well worth it!Having never been before, they were incredibly helpful, showing me where to find the different sawn timber I was looking for, giving me time to look through stock and choose what I needed.Prices and stock were the reason I made the journey and on both aspects they exceeded my expectations, the place is huge with an amazing amount of stock.I was also shown a shop area with lots of pre-planed boards, live edge slabs (some stunning yew while I was there!), thin stock wood, off cuts of all sizes, an absolute treasure trove of timber!Craft makers, turners and similar will find plenty of amazing small quantity timber here as well as the full length sawn stuff I was there for.All the guys there were so friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help. They opened the shutter doors to let me pull the car in to load up and even turned the plastic wrap machine back on, after shutting down for the day, to wrap all my timber to protect it from the rain on the roof bars.I will definitely be back in the future, thank you guys for the fantastic service, you're a credit to the company!

Hugely impressed with how friendly the staff are. As a wood carver, I am never going to be a customer who spends tonnes of cash, as carving is a slow process, but the staff were really helpful and so friendly.
