“I needed some balloons and banners for a golden wedding anniversary that was that day (poor planning on my part I know!)
I was served by staff who were both polite, friendly, kind and visible on the shop floor, willing to help and assist. It was a Saturday morning and they were fairly busy with customers but Vicky helping me to come up with a plan of what would look right together based on the stock available. I genuinely felt nothing was too much trouble for her. She even asked what time the party was that evening and told me the balloons last for about 8 hours which meant I was able to go away and pick them up later on. When I was paying for the items James had heard me saying it was a golden wedding anniversary (50 years) but all the stuff I'd picked up had 60 on them, totally unnoticed by me and for some reason I had 60 years in my head. He mentioned this to Vicky when she was doing the balloons and when I came to pick them up she mentioned this to me which of course highlighted my error! She changed them for me with no fuss and absolutely save me from the embarrassment of turning up at the so with the wrong balloons and table decorations! Truly outstanding customer service and also way beyond what I'd expect from card factory with the prices being as low as they are! Shipley is a small market town and being able to get what I needed with such brilliant service was really unexpected.”
