Staff ask you to see if there's anything in or under your shopping bags at the checkout to make sure they're empty / you're not stealing anything. It's the only store (Aldi or otherwise) I've ever experienced this and find it incredibly offensive. I won't be going back to Shipley Aldi.

I fw aldi so hard, genuinely my top favorite best place to get food at. I will genuinely defend aldi with my life. If the purge comes it will be aldi I will be coming after. Fricking love this place like seriously 10/10 prefer this place over any other shops when it comes to food

Decent place to shop. Prices are really cheap ,but you're buying brands you're not familiar with, which can be a bit of a gamble.
