Food is really good ! Authentic curry . Perhaps amongst the best Asian restaurants in Leeds . Speciality dishes may take a tad longer to prepare but well worth the wait

A great evening out: good food with a superb atmosphere topped off by excellent piano renditions (jazz versions of 90's classics and even the odd Bollywood number!).

Arrived around 6pm bank holiday Monday to a less than half full restaurant.
After 25 minutes had to ask the waiter if he?d take the order, ten minutes later someone came to take the order.
Waited for 50 minutes more and still not even a popadom or a drink had shown up,
Got up, complained and walked out after wasting about an hour and a half in total.
It?s a shame because I?ve been before and enjoyed the food but never again. Service was abysmal.

They have no allergen menu!! Which far as I?m aware is a legal requirement in all restaurants!! Apart from that the food was lovely but overpriced in my opinion, £12 for a small pot of curry then extra for the rice. Again it was lovely but very expensive imo.
Dietary restrictions: They have no allergen menu so you will have to trust a random waiter!

It was a good experience I especially liked that the bar above the restaurant had a lively nightclub vibe about it. The only thing I'd say improve is clean the fixed seating areas as they look discoloured and not cleaned in a while. The naan breads are very large I enjoyed the tasty curry I ordered.

Our recent visit to East Bar and Lounge Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with professionalism and warmth that set the tone for the entire afternoon.
The quality of the food was simply outstanding. Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavors that delighted our taste buds. The menu offered a variety of options, ensuring that every member of our family, including my children, found something to love.
The staff service was impeccable. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was flawless. Their dedication to providing top-notch service truly stood out.
The ambiance of the restaurant was peaceful and sophisticated. The soothing sound of the piano in the background added a touch of elegance, creating a serene environment where we could relax and enjoy our meal.
My children had the most amazing experience, and it was heartwarming to see how much they enjoyed themselves. The staff made them feel special and ensured they had everything they needed.
We will definitely be back for more. East Bar and Lounge Restaurant has set a high standard, and we can't wait to return for another wonderful dining experience.

Can't fault it. The place is well presented, has a great atmosphere with the piano in the corner. Food was excellent and the options felt endless. Portion size was generous. Staff were attentive and helpful, they overheard my mum mention it was my birthday and even brought over a cake. Great place
