Credit where credit is due. There used to be a time when they made TV comedies about people who worked in mobile phone shops. I have suffered massively at the hands of Carphone Warehouse, may Charlie Dunstan spend a long time in at least purgatory for ripping me off. If what I had been promised by Three actually materialised I?d be able to launch missions to Mars, but alas, they mugged me, promising me this that and the other but not even raising a signal. For the last five years, on the other hand, Vodafone have constantly supplied a great value, reliable service. Yes, trying to deal with their telephone operators would turn anyone into a terrible racist sometimes, especially when you drop $3 behind on your device plan because you lost your debit card and got a fresh one but.. Credit where credit is due. I visited the Pontefract branch of their shop a few days ago, and the girl who dealt with me (Sophie??) seemed to have as much time as I needed, sorted my problems out, was thoroughly pleasant and efficient and a credit to her company. I wasn?t even buying anything. Vodafone seems brilliant nowadays. OMG they have managed to get me to pay £1 a day to talk to my friends and family and I?m grateful for it. Damn. :)

Called in store Sunday andrea was the lady who helped us she was great from start to finish so down to earth very friendly helped us resolve some issues and helped me pick out a new phone an up to date one that didn't cost too much per month and its great. The only thing is Vodafone now charge you for handset and airtime you don't pay anymore for it but it shows on your bank statement as two separate direct debits so a little confusing to what we are used to but other than that everything was really good service and not just pushing sales on to you.

I had a problem with my account. Tried their helpline but couldn't get through. Went to the store in Pontefract. Very helpful and kind.They made a stressful situation much easier. Sorted my problem out quickly.

Waited 10 minutes to be served with no movement in that time, was told it would be another 10 minutes so left at that point, staff don't seem able to speed up what they are doing with customers they are serving. Very disappointing, I was looking to re-contract but may consider another provider instead.

I recently went into the pontefract store to upgrade. I was served by mark who was efficient polite an friendly , whilst there a customer was very good and was getting a little irrate with another of his colleagues , mark was patient with the irrate customer an offered to help him after myself . This calmed the customer down. All in all a very nice customer shop experience

Staff really, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend them 1st class.
