It is Tesco, but not a big Tesco or a Superstore. It is on the site of an old Hillards Supermarket which used a second area of the site as, I think, a freezer section. Tesco never took that area on. I would like to see them utilise that to expand their limited range.

I've been to this Tesco when I was travelling to Leeds. The manager Frazer is the best person in this shop. He was really helpful and showed me all the things that I wanted to buy. I definitely recommend everyone to talk to him incase you'd have difficulty in finding whatever you're looking for. His customer service was spot-on. Thank you so much Frazer.

Disgusting manager with blonde hair in customer service till 04/03/24 Absolute zero level customer service. Insulted my appearance. Proceeded to tell off a colleague in front of me as well.

We really like this Pontefract store staff always friendly - the reason also for writing this review is that some idiot bumped our car whilst we were shopping and drove off leaving us with a damaged car thanks for that!! We went into the store and spoke to Beverley about the CCTV in the carpark and explained what had happened we also have Wakefield Council looking into it too as they also have CCTV - she was amazing so friendly and very helpful and can?t thank her enough! Also Jamie from the store also phoned us back having looked into the CCTV and spoke to my husband and again so friendly and helpful we really appreciate what you both did and can?t thank you enough thanks again

During COVID-19 they shut off access through the highstreet entrance, which has stopped me going a number of times as I would have to go out of my way to use the shop, I used to always shop here on my way back through town but I cannot do that anymore. Inside the prices are okay, but Tesco seem to be price gouging in this cost of living crisis.

How is possible to ask for id, when I'm 38 years old.I was usually do my shopping at Tesco. But never again. People over 35 definitely don't look under 25
