I went here to use the car vacuum. First of all, it is £2 for just 6 minutes of use. This seems excessive compared to other service stations. Second, the vacuum suction was very poor. I went in to address the problem with the clerk and was met by someone who clearly had no clue how much the machine costs, what to do if its not working, or how to reimburse customers. He wasnt rude as such he just made me feel like I was lying about it not working and it costing £2, he was simply clueless and very slow to respond, then react to my problem. I was left stood there for much longer than I should. Yes it was only £2, but initially, I went in to make them aware there was an issue, hoping it could be fixed, then left feeling like everything was much harder work than it should have been.

charged twice for fuel tried to sort it out but met with hostility by some little polish women with glasses showed her my bank statement that clearly showed two transaction but told it was impossible this happened on the 14 of may I tried sorting it on Saturday 17 of may but to no avail avoid this garage. yes I do want to discuss further but the website site you sent me to just tells me how good you are why don't you have some one who knows what there doing and I will be glad to go and sort it out with them at the bond gate station in pontefract

Avoid if you can't go to any other fuel station, while everywhere I seen is at 1.32 up to 1.36 for petrol this place is the most expensive around the area at 1.38.

I really can?t recommend this Shell petrol station at all. I?ve just had to go back a second time after the attendant forgot to charge me for my fuel, despite me telling him the pump number when I scanned my other shopping and Shell reward card.
I?m glad I got a receipt and checked it at home, or I wouldn?t have know about his mistake. I went back and rectified it within 20 minutes and now I get to wait two months because he?d already logged it as a drive off. No apology given, and he wouldn?t let me speak to the manager when I complained, he just told me to keep my receipts in case ?they? write to me. Definitely one to avoid.

Avoid at all costs. Ripping off customers. Fuel was atleast 15p higher than all other fuel stations in pontefract.

Currently as of 27th march 2024 this shell garage is 15p a litre MORE than the equivalent BP just down the road in glasshoughton. No matter what the owner or shell trot out over, supply and distribution of fuel costs are this place is literally inflating prices way above many local petrol stations, including BP, ASDA AND OTHERS. AVOID THIS PLACE AND SAVE YOURSELVES MONEY BY GOING ELSEWHERE!

Gotta watch the prices here, competative one day,10p dearer than elsewhere next day...more concerning is that they have two tills,but seem to think queues are unimportant, one takes the cash whilst the other ignores everyone,and leans on the counter playing on her phone...happens a lot ...plenty of sarnies,drinks snacks,but near motorway prices

Used before, but at your overinflated prices I just stick couple of £ in and drove down the road to fill up. Usual excuse saying costs vary between garages and postcodes, plus costs, distribution and supply?blah blah blah?general public don?t want to hear lip service (must be run by a Tory supporter) they want a solution, cheaper fuel, more customers, make more money?is it that hard?

2 days ago I visited shell petrol station in pontefract old lady with red hair refused to sale me coffee!!!???? her excuse was the policy not serve coffee at the window at 4:30 in the morning even know I was at same station 2day before that and I was served coffee throw the window really disgusting behaviour rude unpleasant experience don?t understand why someone would make up a lies like that .
