Poor queueing system in place. There is supposedly one queue for all checkouts, both manned and self service. However because it's at the far end of the store, customers are pushing in, many of whom aren't aware of the system. This is unfair and needs rectifying. Apart from that the store is usually well stocked with a good variety of products for its size and staff are friendly and helpful.

This is a really smart looking, efficiently run store. All the staff are very helpful, professional and curteous. A good selection of food and a good layout. We went today after 3.00 p. m. and some of the food was reduced in price so we could pick up a bargain too. This store is a great asset to Pontefract.

customer service refund team, absolutely disrespectful and distant in atitude ... I just bought a bag full of items today , exceeding 50£ in value ... and trying to get the 5£ off the whole purchase , I was so shocked being told by the customer service lady , that its taking too long and she is too busy to process the whole transaction ... poorest custo3.servise in the whole Pontefract

I only nipped into the local M&S for some sweets for a birthday and a breakfast treat in the morning, but the chap Charlie who served me was very well mannered. Always nice to come across someone who is prepared to spend a little time talking without rushing you through the till.

Very good quality food in my opinion some is very overpriced ..Offers are very good value as you can get a 3 course meal for two and drink for £10 ..lots of choice and would be ideal for a person living alone as lots of good tasty meals for one .Wouldn't be ideal to feed a large family as it is rather expensive...
