Took parents for a nice lunch !! Definitely dissatisfied to say the least .The menu didn?t coincide to what?s on the web site asked for 3 different items on menu non of which were available. The food eventually arrived after 35 mins of waiting ordered 2x soup and small sandwich and one Yorkshire pudding with sausage, the soup and sandwich came out first all on one large plate presentation 0% some prawns where still frozen! Cold soup which I returned to member of staff the reply was is it !! No apology to come out the second time no hotter than it was before! Sausage and Yorkshire pudding arrived 10 mins after our soup and sandwiches to my mum had already finished eating.No one came to see if everything was ok after we had finished sat for about 15 mins with plates still on table decided to go pay I said about issues we had she replied with ok I will let them know still no apology!! No goodbye or thank you as we left But the best thing about it was there was only our table in does that say anything or what Avoid !!! ??

Called in for lunch meeting. Had food and drinks with meeting. Food was good quality, tasty and I thought it was good value for money, but the service was slow. This was apologised for and explained that they were really short of staff on that day.However, staff were polite and helpful, and I will call in again when I'm passing.

We had an unfortunate experience here today as we went here for a wedding reception and the experience was not good for all guests .service was terrible, food was not up to standards especially for the price they require for it .it took them an hour and a half to bring our toasted sandwhiches,for 20 guests ,with no other paiteons in the building except the wedding party .the menu was not whats on their site .all in all it was not good .fire alarms going off with no information as to whats happened. No managers at the venue to explain everything that was going wrong .which is a pity because its a stunning venue .

Only went to the bar area.Staff on the bar were lovely, but the manager was absent. It would seem that he didn't inform the staff of the plans that had been made for our party, and left the other staff to take the flack. Very pricey, would not visit again.

Totally unorganised for our wedding party.!, No Food! Staff were not to blame for this, it was lack of manager being present and no communication to staff of our booking for a party of 17. Thank you to staff who were there to cobble together a few toasted sandwiches for the wedding party. You were great and should not have been in this position.

Sorry, would not visit here again, the room where we ate was cold, the food was cold, although the staff were lovely some people were waiting 10 minutes after the others to get their food.

Went for lunch today at the Kyte it took 45 mins to arrive considering we were the only ones dining it was a long time . When the food arrived it was cold so sent it back to the kitchen after another 30 mins we cancelled the food . I was then told it was coming out and we would not have to pay for it , we could not believe we only had two pieces of chicken in curry . It was a joke so sent it back refused to eat it would not recommend eating there . There excuse was they were prepping for Sunday lunch so obviously we were not important enough to them to provide a decent meal .

Went to the Kyte yesterday for lunch, hadn?t been since it changed hands. Very disappointed, ordered their fish and chips for myself and my wife. When it arrived to say we were disappointed was an understatement, the fish was small and the chips! Well,there was nine on the plate. We persevered ate the meal, not great. When we questioned the portion size, £15.95 for each meal, and were told that was the size that was served. They did ,however, knock £5 of each meal. In conclusion, we were regular patrons up until covid, sadly we won?t be going back, a great shame as we got married there 3 yrs ago.

A new style of business for this venue at lunch time, so very quiet, service was great, food cooked to order so nice, fresh and hot, home made minu Victoria cakes werr very yummy, surroundings very nice clean n comfy, probably needs to prompt the business a but more locally
