I have got to put one star because I can't put lower they sold me a crank does my bike told me it was for my bike I had to take my bike to a bike repair shop to have my old crank extracted where they told me it was the wrong part the manager at halfords told me it was what I needed for the bike I told him but the technician who was at the shop at the time said if I had fitted that to my bike within a month my hip would have been destroyed and by the time I would've found out it would have been too late they are words from the technician who works for halfords as a 15 year old this worried me so just to let people know

Have to say price wise Halfords is very competitive these days with regular offers. It?s great to be able to go to a physical store and see what you are buying rather than the faceless online retailers. The staff in Pontefract are very helpful and I often visit for motoring and cycling needs.

Excellent customer service today from Halfords pontefract. Booked in for chip repair on windscreen and was advised it was only a surface scratch not a chip. Given advice on best polish, which unfortunately they did not have in stock, but lovely lady checked online and advised selby had them in stock, she even wrote down product details and code for me. Refund issued for repair as I had booked and paid online. Thank you
