The store overall is fine but the pricing is quite high compared to aldi, although the store does sell things you would never find there such as corner yoghurts.

Small shop - car park is larger.
Goods have what you want but some things are overpriced. Tills are self service - seemed a lot of staff standing around. Will try Tesco 4 miles away.

Most of the time I can't get a large 40 pack of dog food the asda own brand hero and end up having to drive 10 miles away at carcroft they always have what I need.
Moorthorpe Asda is poorly stocked regularly I have trouble getting what I need to get with many various different things

Brought an Amazon parcel in for return, this was 3pm on a Sunday, I was told that I couldn?t return it today as they had closed the box for that day! They were clearly trying to get off early! Poor customer service I?ll take my shopping elsewhere

I love the asda normally but the branch in south elmsall are terrible for the dates on their fresh veg and salad ...I went in today for shredded iceberg lettuce...although there was plenty on the shelf it was all brown and watery even with the 4th of June dates...as were the rest of the bagged salads .. they were limp and didn't have great dates on either.. its always the same with that produce in there...I go to tesco also and their salads are always fresh looking and have good dates on them so don't know where asda are going wrong. It's not just a one off with some produce iv noticed this happens all the time hence why I prefer to go to tesco for salads

Folk queuing all over while 2 staff members standing by shooting the breeze. When asked why they weren't helping on the tills. No my job today.Not queuing to for self service while so called staff members no nothing.
