I bought a pushchair for my granddaughter. The young lady that served me I think was called Roma was extremely helpful and put the pushchair together for me and disposed of all the packaging. What a lovely helpful staff member

Great experience today in store our item was ready within minuets when my little girl gave the guy our ticket he let her stamp it ?? just a little thing that made her day thanks for that ?? sorry I never got your name to add to the review young man in his 20s with long hair ????

Ordered a ninja dual click n collect on Monday and got a mail to say it was ready to collect on Wednesday morning , went to collect it to be told we had cancelled it and it had been sold.As these are in big demand it looks like one of the staff has cancelled our order to purchase themselves and to add insult to injury we now have to wait upto 7 days for a refund.I will never shop there again in a shop where the staff can?t be trusted.

Thank you Megan @ Pontefract. I've had covid for 5 days and reserved some items that ran out today. I'd paid for them I called in a panic thinking I'd lose my money. Megan was fantastic. Calmed a very upset me and then extended just a little while longer. I've been so poorly and not being able to breathe very well...she helped me through the entire call. Do be careful however calling the automated service at Argos. If you press 2 and you don't give the right 'reason for calling' you'll get a happy "goodbye and thank you for calling". It may have you frustrated to the point of picking a window for your phone so I would advise pressing 1(I may get into trouble for that but it will help you hopefully). Thanks again Megan. UPDATE. Argos DID NOT put my items away for longer and even though I still had covid I and couldn't go in myself I lost my daughters Christmas gifts. If they hadn't been paid for then yes please take them off reserve but I explained to Megan I had covid(if they record the calls this can be heard). I'm heartbroken. ? I did initially put 5 stars and they were for Megan!

Lovely Argos in Pontefract store . Got help from a lovely lady Wendy ... very engaging will definitely use Pontefract again having always used Castleford .

Fast service, helpful staff, a good layout, and ground floor access make this an easy place to shop.The location is good, exactly opposite the indoor Market. The surrounding shops and cafes are a bonus.Parking is the only issue here. An alleyway and pedestrian crossing seperate the business from the nearest car park.

Travelled from Germany and needed a chip pan, super friendly and quick service. Topped off with the cashiers quip... "so you are Day chippers are you". Highly recommend Argos store.

Social distancing was adhered to in the queue outside of the store as was the wearing of masks. As only a click and collect service is available at the moment the staff were serving at the doorway and they were friendy,polite,helpful and efficient resulting in an excellent, overall and trouble-free experience/purchase.
