Good pint of Tim Taylor's available here - and a nice view from the beer garden whilst drinking it. Real out of the way place and grea to come across it when needing some refreshment. Good for walkers exploring the valley.

Food was lovely and decent sized portions and service was great!
They have a large beer garden and it's in a nice secluded area in the hills.
Dogs are welcome too which is a bonus.
All round lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and locals.

Although there is no food service at the moment this is an excellent friendly place with a great landlord, Alex and lovely bar staff and customers. A real community pub with real people. Highly recommended.
Parking: Wainstalls, near Halifax.

Excellent country pub, good selection of beer. Great outdoor space with good views down the valley. I'm not sure about food as we didn't look.
