Now that?s what I call a garden centre. Very clean and bright with everything you might need for your gardening, even rare plants. Great Yorkshire food and beverages to take home for later. Kitchenware, shoes, outdoor plants? nothing?s missing. Spent more than an hour and will definitely come back very soon!

This is the first time ever that I?ve put pen to paper and complain?.I want to share my experience at Otley garden center restaurant..today I went with my partner around 1-30pm ..I had a jacket potato with tuna with a flat white ..my partner had crumpets and a flat white ..the jacket potato arrived and look as an appetizing as you can get ..looked like it had been made in the microwave..the bottom was so hard I could barely get my knife through it ..and luck warm £8-50 the flat white was like dishwater so I went and ordered an espresso so I could actually taste some coffee.. my partners crumpets lukewarm the butter could barely melt? I told the assistant that was collecting the dishes. She said she would let the kitchen stuff no.. nobody came back to us to say anything about it? I don?t think they particularly care as they were quite busy.. but we certainly won?t be going back there again I would not recommend it to anybody

A garden centre that doesn't know what it wants to be. I've been here an hour and not seen a plant. I've seen shoes, cushions, beer and bread, crafts, cards and thousands of those grisly resin animals. Oh I did pass barbecues so we're close. And surprisingly all the decor in the building is plastic plants and foliage. Doesn't really send a good aign. Then once you've fought past the shuffling oldies looking for cheap slippers in Pavers or arguing over slacks in the Edinburgh Wooden Mill you get to Fattie's, I mean Hattie's; the most expensive café known to man. Pie of the day £15, egg mayo buttie £7, slice of cake a fiver. Disgraceful prices. I might add more to the review if I find anything garden related.

I understand that it's coming to holiday time, but multiple fast flashing lights everywhere is not good for people like my wife who has epilepsy....I am surprised that in the 21st century you are not aware of this dangerous risk. The cafe is very expensive, and not very clean. Where is the epilepsy warning on your website....

Our first visit and we really enjoyed it. The garden centre is fantastic; really well laid out and great displays with a huge range and variety of things to purchase. All the staff were really helpful as well. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the café. It was okay but not the best we've visited. The pot of tea was small for the cost and we were disappointed to be given UHT milk for tea and coffee given the price paid. If this could be improved, it would be 5 stars. That said, it wouldn't stop us visiting again, we just wouldn't use the café.

Tried the Cafe and selected pricey ploughmans salad at more than £11? ,my mistake. Very poor value for money and very poor quality .The salad constituted a tasteless small pork pie .an apple, and cheese with a bitter salad. Bread was extra but I was not prepared to pay more. The ingredients I would value at £2 in total , what a profit but I suppose this is due to the cost of a Chef putting it all together! Cafe was busy but this is possibly down to fact there was no other alternative nearby. The Garden centre itself was a nice place to be especially at Xmas but avoid the Cafe .

First time visiting since the garden centre was taken over. It seemed to be in transition so difficult to say what it will be like once fully stocked and sorted out. The plants looked to be very good but a tad expensive in my opinion. Gifts, homeware clothes, confectionary and cards, etc. all looked really good with lots of choice. Will visit again soon to see how it evolves.
