We made a detour to this brilliant little cafe on a journey down the M1 and can highly recommend it.
Welcoming and efficient service and superb food. From an extensive menu, we had a delicious homemade Bircher muesli and a giant crumpet loaded with bacon, homemade sausage patty, a perfectly poached egg and other bits and bobs. Our coffees were great, too.
The shared carpark is chargeable, but very cheap (80p for an hour). There looked to be free on-road parking a short walk away.

First time visit today. Service was impeccable from Natasha. A relaxed and chilled vibe with good background tunes. Will definitely return as all staff were friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding!

Amazing food and service. Breakfast & lunch is always on point? However, the best thing they do is the around the world tapas at the end of each month, showcasing around 7-8 different small plates of food from various countries. It?s an evening meal and it changes every time. We?ve been 4 times now and it?s absolutely delicious and very well priced!!! A must try? check out the website for each coming months menu.

Lovely catch up with friends. Food was good! Chosen as it was central to us as we live in different parts of Yorks. Saw that it had good reviews and now we know why, and totally agree with them! Top spot! Thank you.

Our first dinner experience at this restaurant. Absolutely fantastic tapas food, just outstanding. The ingredients used were so fresh, varied and plentiful, a delight. The service was on point, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. All of the waiters/waitresses were very courteous, polite and personable. Lovely ambiance. Unable to enjoy a glass of wine/coffee due to us attending a candlelight concert later in the evening but already booked our next one in July, counting down the days. See you soon.

Came for a birthday breakfast this morning with my family. Service was excellent and food was deliciously good. A great choice of breakfast options. It was hard to choose, but that just means I will have to come back to try more!
We had a table for 7 upstairs and the staff treated us with a birthday card and an extra treat at the end. Thank you cafe vie!
