I would fully recommend phoning and booking prior to your visit. I phoned up about 30 mins thinking it would be busy. It turned out to be quite for our visit but nearly every table had reserved signs for various parts of the day.

We visited yesterday and both had the mill stack breakfast with a cappuccino each. The breakfast was delicious. Good fresh produce. Cooked to perfection. The coffee was delicious we even took one home. The Staff were fabulous really friendly. The cafe was very busy a tell tale sign that it?s a good place to go. We will definitely be back. Thank you Millstack.

I am beyond disgraced by the extortionately overpriced food I have juat ordered. I've just spent £22.50 on a breakfast and a sausage and mushroom sandwich with a decaf coffee. The food was ok, the coffee tasted like cheap, nasty instant coffee and the portion size was measly. £12 pound plus vat for a breakfast that consisted of two bacon two sausage mushrooms , tomatoes 1 egg and a hash brown is just not worth it. Ive still found myself hungry after the breakfast and I didnt even get any toast with it which I was meant to .
I feel like I've paid London prices for a sub par meal that basically hasn't even tickled the sides. Ive attached the receipt so people can see the prices as they were not clearly displayed before ordering.

As a fellow restaurant owner/operator with a rare day off planned for my wife?s birthday, mine and my family?s visit last Sunday was a real pleasure.
We were visiting Penistone Hill Country Park to see the Wild Uplands exhibition and when I was searching for a nearby place that would satisfy our fussy autistic 11 year old daughter as well as be dog friendly for a manic 13 month old working cocker spaniel and also have options for my pescatarian wife, I happened to find Millstack through a google search.
From the menu alone, it?s clear to see that the two sisters who run here are very passionate about high quality ingredients, provenance and catering for most with good food simply done well.
The service was super friendly and attentive, with a steady stream of regulars whom the sisters greeted and checked in with whilst we were there telling you all you needed to know that it?s a place worth visiting if you?re ever nearby.
We will definitely be back over from Saltaire at some point soon!

Jam packed on a Monday morning tells you something. It was the first time we?ve visited but we?ll definitely be back - and we?ll book in advance! Breakfast was truly top notch.

Always love going to the Millstack. The food is always great, I would personally recommend thr Cajun sandwich or the hot roast beef. The staff are always friendly and helpful, just a brilliant place really ??

What a discovery! The place looks great and feels great: high ceilings, big windows, quirky decor. My Eggs Royale were excellent; best I?ve had in a while. My wife had full English breakfast which didn?t come with baked beans! I had to order these separately for the princely sum of £1.50 for a small serving. This is hard to justify: just add the baked beans to the full English, like the rest of the world does! Otherwise, no complaints.
