Update Jan 2025 Much better but fresh fruit and veg is always hammered. Meat prices are very expensive compared to others. Still ok though.

I shop at this Lidl in Normanton every week.
Please , be very mindful and ask for a paper receipt of payment then check your receipt very , very carefully because sometimes they add random products and charge you extra money for products you have not bought.
I have been asking the staff why this happened, they said it's a code error system problem because they are rushing to scan your products multiplying the numbers .
So in the end you will pay for their mistake if you don't ask for the receipt and aren't careful about what they scan and add to your purchases.
Always ask for a receipt and check if your products match.
Please don't be like me the lucky one for several times , it's frustrating as you have to go back and explain what is the mistake and they are looking at you like it's your own fault because you haven't checked your receipt.
I almost forgot , most of the blue trolleys with wheels are damaged and squeak loudly , need some new wheels or replacement.

Great store, good parking very spacious (like most lidl's) Store always looks well shopped, but I'm certain that's due to sheer volume of customer's using the store, rather than colleagues not facing up shelves. I've always been able to get what I need which is main thing. Colleagues there are all great. Recommended

Like to shop at Lidl i find it relaxing and no pushing or shoving everyone as respect for each other, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Like that i can still get everything i need and the prices are good.
Liking the new lidl app toowhich also helps even more with your shopping and discounts.
