A nice local pub. Lots of regulars. Food is cheap and cheerful. Nicely decorated. The landlady is great, always organising events for the local community - Help for Heroes, Halloween stuff and other fund raising events. Pool table and darts board. Toilets clean and nicely decorated (the ladies.)

This is a solid local pub. During the short time I was there, it came across as an establishment popular within its own community. There were three beers on hand pull. Two from Thwaits (IPA and Wainwright's) and one from Bradfield (Farmers Blonde). The cask ales were well kept. There was also a decent choice of wine and the usual keg lagers. There were several TV screens, dart board and a gambling machine. There is a very nice garden behind the pub. There were a number of locals sitting around the bar which can make some visitors a little apprehensive. Generally came across as a friendly place.

Legendary pub. Brilliant food served quickly and with such a friendly atmosphere that we came back the same evening!! Best decision of this year to come back the staff were lovely and inclusive and I will be coming back as soon as I can!!
