Arrived 30 minutes before the booking time, shown to the bar area to wait. All the tables were dirty & full of empty bottles/glasses, the pub in general is grubby & run down.Stood queuing 10-15 minutes while a customer is allowed to do her own takeaway + meal…. Went for takeout today was disappointed when my choice of meat (lamb) was not ready so had to have alternative . The lady who served me was very sorry. So I didn't complain. Then she gave my money back for the lamb she couldn't have done more so Thank you to you and the team xxEnjoyed the meal too xx

Splendid food with generous helpings all at a very good price. The Yorkshire puddings were the best I've ever had. But more than this was the extremely friendly,courteous, and efficient service we experienced tonight. Full marks to Chloe for serving the food and Sophie, the waitress and bar lady.
