Moved overseas 12 years ago and recently visited England for the first time since I left.
I used to shop at asda every week, and came back again recently. It?s nice to see how the store has developed over the years, and it?s nice to see they still offer a great range of products.

Why do Asda Morley still have numerous signs stating they are open 24hrs, they are not, and have not for some time. They close at 10.00pm.

Waste of time this store, staff at the customer services desk are rude, refused to price match an item which was cheaper on their own website vs the store, a trip wasted.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Asda Morley. My child's birthday is tomorrow, and for the past two weeks, we had been planning a football-themed celebration. As part of this, we placed an order at Asda Morley for a photo-printed cake, as this outlet offers the service.
However, when I went to collect the cake, I was shocked to find that they had not done it. Instead of a solution, all I received was an apology?right in front of my child, who was devastated. A birthday is a special moment that children eagerly look forward to, and this negligence completely ruined the excitement.
To make matters worse, when I expressed my frustration, the manager simply repeated that she could do nothing but apologise. When I pointed out that an apology does not fix my child?s disappointment, she responded by saying the only other thing she could do was ask security to remove me from the store. So, while their negligence deeply upset my child, my questioning of their failure was considered unacceptable.
After all this distress, my child cried himself to sleep, and now, on his birthday, he will have to cut a cake that he doesn?t even like. This experience has been truly disappointing, and I would expect much better service from a well-known brand like Asda.

Went in at 10:00 Monday night. Had a query and was told by the self service assistant to go to the till (Audrey) was working on.
On approach Audrey snapped that we have to use the self service, the self service assistant advised her we had a query to which she replied 'well they can wait'. We did wait 15 mins watching the young couple in front uncomfortably loading their shopping on miserable Audrey's belt.
They stated that Audrey is visably upset EVERY week when they request a till for their shopping.
After waiting we were told by Audrey we couldn't be served. That she wasnt there to serve customers. I asked to speak to a manager. Another staff member blamed the manager and cuts, the night manager claimed he didn't understand the tills so couldnt help.
We left our shopping on the belt and picked up what we needed at Tesco. It was £2.60 cheaper and the staff were helpful.
Tesco on Bradford Road is only 4 mins away but world's apart!!!
