If you like bland food, then eat at this place.
The garlic bread tasted of nothing and was as thin as paper. The pizza came and it was just the same quality. When I asked the waitress to take it back, she was quite rude about it, I told her it was of poor quality she stormed off with it. No question or apology.
Having seen the amount of waste from other tables I'd be flagging this up to the chef.
Don't waste your money here, unless you like cheap ingredients in your food. I've had better quality £1 pizza's from Iceland. I think a course in customer service for staff would help.I won't be returning.

Yet again, another great family meal out here. This place is ideal for families - great service, excellent food and a great atmosphere. This time we were in a large party of 11 and were really well looked after. Lovely local restaurant.

We came today for our two year anniversary. And we came once last year too. The food is amazing, very fair portions. We got the pollo Kiev and the lasagna with some sides. The waitresses are always polite and welcoming. The interior / atmosphere is stunning. And the prices are extremely fair. My partner had it in mind that we?d be spending around £80 including alcohol / drinks but the bill only came to £53 all in! So we?re pleased really. It doesn?t feel too cramped inside. Feels like we have our own space compared to other restaurants we?ve been too. The house wine is even nice. Cheap and cheerful. I had the Merlot. We love it here, we consider this restaurant one of our ?special? go to places. It?s a restaurant we?d never go to with friends or family. It?s ?our? place. There?s just something about it. Wonderful place.

As a family of five we visit Casa Luli often and have never had a bad experience, the food is always beautiful. However, my husband and I visited on Sunday 30/03/25 with our eight year old and teenager for a Mother's Day meal and were left hungry and disappointed.
My Husband booked a table as we know how busy it can get and we didn?t want to be disappointed. We promptly arrived and it appeared there was some confusion over our booking, it was very busy so we sat in the bar area whilst they sorted out a table for us.
Once at the table we were given a ?Mother?s Day Set Menu? £35 for 2 courses or £40 for 3.
We weren?t expecting a set menu as there had been no mention of it when booking or on our arrival.
In small print at the very bottom of the menu read ?or any pasta or pizza dish from the main menu?
I asked for a main menu knowing the children and husband would definitely want pizza, thinking oh I?ll have pizza too, it was Mother?s Day after all.
Our chosen pizzas ranged between £8 and £12 each, very reasonable. Add our starters and we were looking at between £18 and £20 per person, £80 plus our drinks is what we were expecting to pay.
Before ordering thought I?d best double check with the waitress who I believe parents own the restaurant. We were categorically told No it was a set menu, we could order our chosen starters/pizzas but it would cost £35 EACH not the £18-£20 priced from the main menu we were expecting.
I questioned this, thinking really that can?t be right?
I was told from a now ?stroppy? waitress it was a set menu, set price.
The waitress went on to say we have had over 200 people eat with us today and not one has complained, maybe they have more money to waste than we do!!!
We simply could not justify paying £140 excluding drinks for a pizza meal for four of us, so we left feeling very disappointed.
Why would such a lovely place put such a huge Mother?s Day mark up on their menu.
We felt very hard done by in what appears to be a very captive audience.
In addition no consideration had been given to a child?s option we were still expected to pay the ?set menu price for a child who obviously eats smaller portions.
I?m struggling to believe we can not have been the only family who felt this way.
Shame on you Casa Luli!!!!

Definitely the nicest Italian for quite a while. Gorgeous food at reasonable prices. We went as a group of 12 and we were treated fantastically. Couldn't recommend this place enough for everyone

After visiting this restaurant for many years as a whole family unfortunately we will never be returning.
Customer service skills do not exist at this restaurant, although the food is beautiful and we have never had a problem with the food itself yesterday I had a piece of plastic in my pudding (off a container) as I mentioned this, any normal restaurant would of apologised and acted accordingly however because I had eaten, it?s not a problem? How am i supposed to know I have a piece of plastic in my ice cream until I am eating it? It was not visible to see until I felt it in my mouth. It?s the principle, I wasn?t complaining about how the pudding tasted I was complaining about what I had found in it and if that had been in ours child?s ice cream this could of been a very different story and a choke hazard. I would dread to think how many thousands of pounds we?ve spent here as a family over the years and to be spoken too the way we was yesterday seriously lacks any form of customer service.
Regarding the soda drinks also, you clearly related us to somebody else here which really is extremely rude, because if was anything to do with price it wasn?t it was a miscommunication with your waiter and your ?good memory? you?d remember the time you forgot to add 6 desserts onto our bill and I came and told you to add them on as this had been missed out.
A very unpleasant visit, no apologies given you have lost some very loyal customers here which could have been easily avoided by acting accordingly instead of been extremely rude and unprofessional in your mannerisms.
