I bought a kitchen from Wickes a year ago. Over the past year (they took months to start the process, constantly extending delivery and fitting dates and failing to show up for fittings) they've destroyed my kitchen causing 2 big gas leaks and a flood, damaged the walls and lighting, and installed with major design floors such as blocking off the boiler and water stopcock behind poorly installed cupboards (plus a very extensive category of issues, such as installing a faulty dishwasher and oven fan, refusing to fix or replace them). Wickes have refused to take any responsibility and have ended up charging us significantly more than any other kitchen provider had quoted by thousands, some of this was paying for fixing things the fitters broke including plug sockets and filling holes in the wall that they caused. A year later I'm now having to start legal proceedings after paying to fix my kitchen independently from Wickes. Avoid at all costs, there are so many better companies out there.

A month after paying just under 9 grand and fitters coming out they decided they were going to be another 5-6 grand more and being without a toilet for over 24 hours ridiculous

£5000 pound for a new out building and play area, not likely now the CEO of Wickes thinks i am a bigot, because I don't want to hear about men being women, and allowed in women's spaces. A man in a dress is still a man... Lost my business for good.

Lovely store with plenty of parking and well laid out. However try to avoid the chubby bald guy?s till. He?s useless and mumbles and is even on his phone while serving when there?s a busy queue. The lanky, bald, toothless guy there is a rude jobsworth too!

We reported that our extractor fan had broken in November. As a result of it not working, steam from the bathroom has got intonour electrics and damaged all of our bathroom lights. We have spoken to numerous members of staff in store and at customer service and we are still waiting for it to be repaired. How dangerous! The customer service throughout Wickes has been absolutely diabolical.

Called in today with intentions of purchasing a kitchen when I asked a staff member if they could come out and measure up his response was do it online and then proceeded to tell me the kitchen would be 10k without me giving him any measurements or style etc also asked why I wanted a new kitchen if my old one is only 6 year old . Basically overpriced kitchens and rude staff who don?t have a clue
