Waterstones café is such a wonderful place to spend time. It?s calm, cosy, and perfect for just sitting down with a good book and a nice cup of coffee. The atmosphere is peaceful, the seating is comfortable, and being surrounded by books makes it feel extra special. A perfect little spot to relax, read, and unwind.

Waterstones in Leeds is no exception to the high standard you?d expect from the brand. The experience is always top-notch ? a calm, welcoming space with a huge selection of books to browse through at your leisure.
The staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help without ever being pushy. It?s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time (in the best way).
And of course, the in-store café is a great bonus ? perfect for taking a break, diving into a new book, or simply thinking over your next purchase. A proper booklover?s haven.

Hands down the best Waterstones I've visited! It's a huge store with an equally huge selection of books, including used Penguin classics for £5. They also have a large gift range, including plain notebooks with covers made from pre-owned old hardback books. It wasn't too busy when I went, so definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Also sells Waterstones 'Leeds' tote bags as souvenirs, as well as unique badges, greetings cards and bookmarks. Hugely recommend!

Every time I go to this store, the staff have been so friendly and helpful. I aways have a great experience. I witnessed a difficult customer once, and the staff member remained calm and helpful the whole time (side note: please don't be rude to the staff).
