If I could give no stars I would. All staff I have spoken to are incompetent aside from the opticians and Chi. All other staff haven?t a clue how to do their job or how to speak to their customers.

Best eye exam i have ever had the lady who helped me was so good , it?s a pity i can?t remember her name but she mentioned something about being retired for some time and came back to. do part time .

The reason for the low score isn't the staff or the service they provide, there excellent. The reason for the one star is every time I've gone into this store its ice cold and I'm only in the store for 5/10 mins max. I don't know how the staff do a full shift in that cold condition especially in winter. It'd not the first time aswell it's been a while since the stores been cold I'm not sure if the heaters broken or there simpley not turning them on but for the customers and staff it aint on. My advise to this would be to get it fixed as soon as due to it being winter aswell.Thank you

Attended for a sight test and contact lens aftercare at the start of September, only to be told I don't need aftercare. My contact lenses have now been stopped as I did need to have aftercare done at that appointment. I'm expected to attend another appointment before they will send the contact lenses they have still been charging me for each month. The staff didn't think to check whether I was wearing my contact lenses (I was) before using the air puff machine on me. I've been using this optician since they opened, but I no longer have any confidence in them.

These guys ripped my wife off with a pair of jam jar glasses that were 500% more expensive than the supermarkets she looked like a special needs person in them. Disgraceful rip off. Go to the supermarkets and skip these muppets, unless it?s for contact lenses.

I visited here for the first time as I had a voucher and it?s unlikely I will go back to be honest. They were using a new machine to study my eye (with the long, square light) and apparently the brightness setting was as low as it could go but it was too bright for me to handle. The optician admitted it was quite bright too. I?d had probably coped had the test taken as long as it usually does if I go to Specsavers but it took ages for my eye to be examined and we didn?t even finish one eye before I gave up and wanted to stop. I was clearly nervous and the whole experience made me feel anxious. My only option was to abandon the test and re book for when the older machine was available. We were also waiting for a while to get results back from my friends eye test because they were short staffed. The detail of advice I did get was quite low compared to what I have at Specsavers. Will go back to Specsavers. I will say that the assistant was very friendly so that?s a plus, he was helpful and nice while we waited to hear back from the optician :-) Sorry I can?t be more positive. :(
