Today we did the trip to Sicily wine tasting as a late birthday treat. Ben and nico were extremely warm and knowledgeable, leading to an absolutely brilliant lunchtime experience for us both. Some absolutely fantastic wines to taste alongside beautifully presented and tasty food. Thank you!

Grazie mille Andreea! One of the best service and hospitality attitude. Me and my friend just jumped in the first restaurant to have a simple lunch, but instead we laughed so much, with good jokes and amazing atmosphere, we easily passed into a dinner)))) The rose home wine was very light and tasty. We had lasagna and Parmigiana, which were also very good. We also recommend ice cream and of course limoncello, thank you for unfortunately experience in Leeds!

I think I'll let my photos do the talking for this review. We come in here a few weeks ago and totally loved this. We had one of the shared boards (see the pics) and it was amazing! The staff and the service were fantastic and the atmosphere was nice, but quiet as we went early. I definitely recommend it.

I am a newish resident in Leeds and happened across Wellington Place by accident on a walk into town last week. I've already been back twice to soak it all in and explore it further. There have not even been any activities on when I visited and I cannot wait to join in. There is a real comfortable vibe about it, with the promise of so much more. I'm not sure why but I got a Convent Garden feel from it and I know this place is going to be the place to be.

I just want to say a massive thanks to Nico and the Veeno team for hosting my 30th birthday (private hire). I couldn?t recommend this venue more if I could try, it is on the quieter side of town also, so no random people trying to walk in, so I didn?t have to worry about that. There was also benches outside for my guests and had plenty of compliments about the food and the espresso martinis especially. I would communicate with head office and they would update their system which would filter through to the restaurant, therefore the pre order of food was very easy and they also made me a draft food order for the amount of guests that were coming. Honestly 10/10 thanks again.

Attended a civil partnership reception at the venue. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great environment and atmosphere. Only negative was the way the food items appeared...too 'bitty' . Guests didn't know what to expect and when. This may be the result of them not usually catering for such events. It wasn't clear which drinks were on a 'tab' payment.

My partner and I chose Veeno Leeds as our party venue to celebrate our civil partnership, which we booked for private hire with our 100 guests. We absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere and appreciated Nico the Manager looking after us throughout the whole process. Thank you to all the team for looking after us!
The food, the wine, the space for live music and the environment were superb! Pre-ordering our food and drink was straightforward and everybody made us feel very special. We would definitely recommend hiring Veeno Leeds for a party and can?t thank the team enough ??

I've been to the newly opened little museum inside the wagon hoist tower today. Very interesting. I particularly enjoyed the little film about the former station and railway. Free entry too.

Ok, I?m Italian but I?ve been living in Leeds for 15 years or so. Tonight the staff at Veeno was absolutely amazing. The wine they suggested is probably the best I?ve had in decades and the food pairing was simply perfect. I came mainly for the location to enjoy the outdoor area in the midst of this heat wave, but I left knowing this is simply one of the top three Italian eateries in Leeds!
