The unleashed comedy night here is great, However the new chairs are downright painful! Even the old benches were more comfortable than these. Shame. Would like more non alcoholic options too.

Lovely staff, no food, snacks would be a great idea, softvdrinks £4 alcohol £5, it was very cold when we went, not sure if that was an isolated incident.

I had a really good night at the HiFi Bar for the comedy night. However, it?s such a shame about the so-called bouncer who felt the need to call everyone "smackheads" and chase them up the stairs. The only thing that stopped him was the camera outside, as he said, "Do you see me wearing a badge?" This behavior was completely out of order. I will not recommend the place, solely because of the person working at the door. He even threatened us, saying that we wouldn?t be able to drink anywhere in Leeds.

me and my friend booked tickets for the ?so fetch? 2000?s night. we paid 7 pounds each i just wanna say. the club was dead like i mean DEAD maybe 10 people in there??
if the club only sold like 20 tickets why not just cancel the event.
we were promised 2000?s music but the dj was playing some questionable tracks icl.
when we left after having a drink there wasn?t even a line to get into the club ??? it was that dead

Comedy unleashed this evening was fantastic, a great line up, I have jaw ache from laughing. Drinks incredibly reasonable for city centre and speedy polite service at the bar. Atmosphere was brilliant. 2nd time I've been and will definately be back. 2nd time seeing Lenny, who just gets better, Darius another highlight of the evening, and Scott.... wow!! Well deserved title of headliner, so quick witted, was exceptional. Thank you Hifi Club, for hosting such a great event. Would highly recommend.

Decent venue but the mic bass was too powerful making it difficult to hear at times. They need a basic sound engineer.

My first visit after being invited over and what a night, one I'll never forget !!
It was a bi monthly soul event & can they soul there or what !!!
Its a cellar club going back many years was packed with some of the best dancers I've seen for years. Friendly?? Absolutely. I bumped into a few people I already know from other clubs which was lovely suprise but met Steve, the very proud owner & rightly so, he's created something very special, a place I've walked past numerous times but I won't be doing that again ? I'll be on a train earlier and making the most of the time there ?
Excellent venue, excellent DJs playing some of the best classic soul I've heard in a very long time. The last hour was a Motown tribute & were talking mainly 60s & 70s which was the best you could imagine.
My score?? Got to be at least 15/10 in my personal top 3 areas : 1) Venue Excellent 2) Music Excellent & last but far from least 3) The people As friendly and welcoming as its possible to be so to everyone I met a MASSIVE Thanks x x x

Me and my friends came for the comedy night last night, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We laughed pretty much the whole way through. The line up was great.
The only downside for me were the benches (I understand why you use them and makes it easier) as it hurt my back and gave me a numb bum a couple of times ?
Prosecco bottle was £35 each which is about average now. Staff were friendly too. Thank you guys for a good giggle ?
