“These guys have amazing customer service! I have a medical condition which means I have quite specialist requirements. They have gone out of their way to get me what I needed! In short I had some shoes that I had bought from them and had been trying to persevere with. It turns out they were completely the incorrect shoe. They exchanged them for me at no extra charge because they said they had sold me the incorrect ones. Then after some very good advice and analysis and I had the correct shoe they were just slightly too small so even after I had run outside in those, they had exchanged them for the correct size! Thanks guys for the most amazing customer service. I will be back for more running gear and excellent free and friendly advice!!”

“I came with my mum to the store a week or two ago to get some new trainers. We met a girl called Hannah at the tills. She spoke to us so nicely, it was so lovely to hear. She didnt mind a small chat with my mum aswell :))

When I even asked about student discount, she said I needed to be a “Nike member”. Due to the IOS on my phone, i couldnt get the app but she quickly saved me saying that I could just register from Safari on my phone, so I admire her quick thinking for helping me with alternative solutions.

“I traveled to this store for return the item because Forster square Bradford store refused to help me, so I have been to this store and there was few customers was already in queue and after dealing with them they returned my item without any question and hardly it did take 2 minutes but I have had bit friendly chat with the member of staff they was friendly and helpful, I could say the staff of this store is trained and they know how to deal with customers.”

“Popped into Sports Direct in Leeds for the first time with my partner. Gotta say, it was a bit of a mixed bag ?

We were initially looking for a Leeds football jersey, but unfortunately, they don't stock them at all. It's a bit surprising for a sports store in Leeds not to carry local team merchandise, so that was slightly disappointing.
As an avid volleyball player (I used to be quite the blocker in my day!), I was keen to check out their volleyball section. However, the selection was quite limited. The only volleyball-related items were some balls, and even those were placed on such a high shelf that my 6'2" partner couldn't reach them. This seems like an oversight in terms of accessibility and customer experience.

Despite these setbacks, our visit wasn't entirely fruitless. We discovered a game store located above Sports Direct, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They had a deal on Switch games, two for £20, not bad I guess. We took this offer, picking up a few games for future game nights with our nephew.

While Sports Direct didn't meet our specific needs on this occasion, the store itself was clean and well-organized. The staff, though unable to help with our initial requests, were polite and informative.

In summary, if you're after general sports equipment, this store might suit your needs. However, for specialist items or local team merchandise, you might want to call ahead or consider alternative options. The unexpected find at the game store upstairs somewhat salvaged our shopping trip, proving that sometimes a bit of flexibility can lead to unexpected positive outcomes.
Room for improvement, but not a total loss thanks to the game store discovery. Guess for now, it's game on at home! ?”
