Refused entry 20 minutes before closing. Would have been in and out in the time it took the non-cooperative robot on the door to repeat the point multiple times. Can understand the challenge if not transacting by closing, but why advertise a closing time if you just pick and choose when you stop admitting people. Really poor experience.

Tried four times to ring!
No one picked up!!
Tried twice to get golf clubs from their other store at Roundhay!
Each time they only had an adult driver and couldn?t tell me when they were getting any more stock..
SportsDirect is no longer the shop it once was!!

I went into the store today and it was an unusually hot day with temperatures over 30. It was very uncomfortable walking around as it was very hot, I feel sorry for the staff working in those conditions. Decent range of clothes but not enjoyable

AVOID ?
No air-conditioning meant we were all sweating, we cut short our shopping and got out of there asap.
The staff had a portable air-conditioning unit behind the counter!
Friendly staff, clean and well stocked.

Actually today we visit here to buy sports direct shoe and two pairs of socks and trouser as well .. we paid for everything we have reciept as well of payment when we left from here alarm start ringing the men who was on main gate he said very very .....rudely stop here for security we did not say anything to him i gave him bag for checking because we were right .. then they checked they did not find nothing wrong .. mam said sorry he did not say anything..that's very bad we will never come back here

Got insulted and shouted at by a member of staff for looking at some pokemon cards. Didn't even realise it was a till as there was no staff and because im 17 I was discriminated against ( stereotypes against teens) and shouted at extremely loudly for almost a minute until I just left. Would've purchased but don't think ill ever go back after that. That member of staff would've never acted in that way if I was an adult.

I went to quickly grab a mouth guard at 6:15pm (store closes at 6:30pm) and asked one of the employees if I could quickly grab it. She brushed me off rudely, and told me they were closing- therefore I couldn?t grab it. I told her that?s all I needed, and I would leave right after I quickly grabbed it. She still rudely said no. Will not be supporting this location anymore.
