The staff in general were friendly and helpful I was told that the vision in my left eye had deteriorated and was directed to a member of staff who directed me towards purchasing new frames I was not offered the option of retaining my existing frames and was offered no other alternative and the member of staff wandered off to help someone else and never returned at that point I left the store disappointed and feeling that I shouldn't have gone to Specsavers

So after ordering my new glasses in June, and after two attempts to collect them! I still don't have them! Plus I asked if I could keep the old frames, and just fit the new lenses, I was told this was not possible! So after doing some research, I have been informed that plenty of people keep the frames, and just replace the lenses. So it looks like the shop is pulling a fast one, first by messing customers about, and next lieing about, you cannot reuse the frames! So don't phone like you did the last time when I left a review, that's very unprofessional! So I came in on the 26th June 2025, and I would request a full refund, I have my old frames which another company said they will reuse them! It's called recycling your glasses frames, and not ripping customers off! So remember don't be phoning like you did the last time! I will be calling in on Monday September 1st, and I will be expecting a full refund. Any issues, I will be contacting trading standards, and I will looking into getting my money back through the small claims court. This should give you plenty of time to go back through your data, to see how much you need to refund me! And I paid by cash! Remember don't be phoning me! This is a review, and a review is not an invitation to contact a customer! Remember have my refund ready for Monday September 1st! This store needs some serious retraining!

Waited over I hour longer than my appointment time. Paid £10 for express service that never happened I was told my glasses were eventually ready when I got to the store. They were not ready. Overall I really bad customer experience the appointment system seems to be a shambles and I witnessed many disgruntled customers in the same situation. I would definitely never use these again by the way I never got my £10 returned even though the glasses were no way near ready on time.
