Decent shop but they never have bakery goods on opening, always takes like 45 mins-1hr for those to be displayed which is disappointing considering most of them are breakfast goods. Every other sainsbury?s has no problem having these ready on time

Went in to buy a meal deal with a red bull drink, staff eventually realised I needed something authorised (seemed put out for doing part of her job) she authorised the Red bull and immediately left. I didn't realise that she hadn't taken off the security tag ???? clearly doesn't have a clue.

Avoid this shop I used self service to pay for an item but the machine said I didn't pay, spoke to the shop manager and refused to help, total disregard to the public

I nip in to sainsbury's 4 times a week to get my papers and lottery and they is a lady called sue who work their .she is so pleasant always got a big smile for everyone, she is brilliant. First time I've ever commented on computer .but she brightens up our day .well done sainsbury's on vicar lane for employing fantastic staff. ??

Great Sainsbury's store for quick groceries

It is in a useful location on Vicar Lane, fairly close to Victoria Leeds and the new cashless Natwest store, however, this branch of Sainsbury's Local is a barely average branch of the chain which seems to be all over the city, alongside Tesco Express stores which is the biggest convenience store rival from a major supermarket, not just in Leeds but the country. The selection is okay in most areas, but the store cleanliness could be much improved which sadly is a really big issue for many stores like this, especially in the Sainsbury's chain, they had the unloading chains everywhere and one aisle was completely blocked off unless you went down another aisle and round which is unacceptable and inconvenient, and just puts one off shopping here. They do have a cash machine in the store, but this is common for a store like this and there also is another one a few stores down at the new Natwest. There didn't appear to be much of a free-form section, it was just one really small top shelf, again being right at the top for the one area of the store specialising in gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free etc is surely insulting to people like me who need it, it was a little hard to read the labels too. It is in a good location without many rivals directly nearby in the area of Leeds City centre it is in, but still the store for me is rather poor, and one which should be avoided if possible, although with a store of its' kind it isn't always possible. The selection of beverages was poor too, and I couldn't get what I was coming in store for. 1*
