I just like Sainsbury's. Make sure you get a Nectar card (online version). You can get extra points besides shopping. The staff, even if some look a bit grumpy, are very helpful - just ask.

ALWAYS check your receipts from this place. I've seen over the years that this store has a bad habit of marking goods up on the shelf at one price, then when you get to the checkout they charge you more money for the item than it was marked up at!
On a recent visit I also discovered they have learned a new little trick where they mark some goods up indicating you'll get a nectar discount, but when you check your receipt you'll see that you haven't actually received any nectar discount!
I complained to the store management about this and they removed the goods from the nectar bin, but when I went back into the store the next day I found they had put them back into the nectar bin! Knowing full well that customers wouldn't get any nectar discount on those items!
Its an absolute disgrace.

This is so good for the community, it's always so busy, there's lots of choice, it's a good store, the staff are helpful and the security guard is nice too.

Did a smartshop which ended with it needing checking and then had to put the whole lot through again which was annoying, but the chap helping was quick and efficient.
