Booked nearly a week and a half in advance for my daughters birthday - explained on the phone that it was for 2 children, one whose 2 and one were 4, so they were well aware there were children going to be present. We were placed in an area at the back that had barely any room to move about. Order had to be requested to be taken after 30 minutes of waiting. Over an hour and a half after arriving, we'd still relieved no main and had only had starter. We were placed next to a rowdy group of around 9 people that weren't eating and were just drinking they pushed my son in his highchair by accident but because it was too crowded and small because of the excess of people. Another couple requested to be moved, and they were, but due to our table size, we were unable to be moved. We, therefore, left as the lady we spoke to seemed to be more concerned with the drinking group than my daughters birthday meal. My daughter even said it hurt my ears, mummy! In the end, we left hungry and dissatisfied.

Absolutely awful visit that was so disappointing. Family meal for a birthday and it was placed into a corner next to the kitchen - waited such a long time to be served in the end had to ask for our order to be taken. Food slow, others close by got moved due to rowdy young get together as noisy and swearing. Complained and nothing done to the extend where children were getting distressed. After nearly an hour and a half we decided to leave as we hadn?t had our main meal and as a family couldn?t hear each other speak.
Left and still got charged nearly £80 for starters and drinks that were left.
Wouldn?t return as the owner didn?t care as it was her family and gave excuses which didn?t justify a 4year olds birthday meal. So disappointing - it?s a restaurant not a night club !! ???

Table booked for 9 people for my granddaughters 4th birthday. Out outside the kitchen with a table filled with the restaurants family and friends who were drinking and were loud and using fowl language. A table of two asked to move and were moved immediately and our grandson who is 2 is autistic and was starting to struggle with the very loud noise. Upstairs was vacant and still not moved just asked to shush and when the owner walked away they started again cackling and being loud and disrespectful smirking at us. The family decided to leave after their starters.
Starters wrong, over half an hour to order and an hour to starters.
No interest what so ever and we left hungry and being charged nearly £80 for drinks and some starters. Absolutely disgusting and we will not be returning as it spoilt our babies 4th birthday and they just were not bothered at all ???

We love Ricos Tuesday night was a quiet one. We arrived as it opened but the food and service were as always welcoming and just delicious ?You will never leave hungry from ricos the portion sizes are large you get plenty for your buck.Great local treasure family-run business the whole team is amazing xxxParking: You can park across the road in the oakwood clock carpark and walk down to Rico it takes two minutes

Good service and atmosphere. Food not as good as previous visits. Pizza was a bit wet/sloppy and bits were falling off it. Possibly undercooked or dough too thin/both? Not sure but hopefully a one off.
