I visit here regularly for a bacon sarnie and a cuppa on my walks with a friend. The staff are always very friendly, the bacon is cooked to perfection (we ask for it crispy), and there is never any push to move you on so we are able to sit a while and chat over our drinks. It?s a popular place amongst dog-walkers, walkers and people who just come for the food. Have eaten here at lunchtime as well - equally as good. Would highly recommend you stop off if you are passing. Happy new year to all the team!

Wonderful, friendly service and a fantastic menu for breakfast and lunch. We are always served with a smile and our dog gets lots of attention too! Can?t recommend Muddy Boots enough for a perfect spot for food and a long natter.

We hosted a Christmas catch up here and it was perfect. Emily could not have been more helpful setting up the event and making it such a huge success. Highly recommended.

The usual great service and food. My wife had the lentil and black bean chilli ( which of course I sampled) and I had the spiced lamb naan bread ( I did let her have a little back in return). Both were excellent. Nicely spiced and just what we needed on a damp windy day after walking around Harewood House. So busy, we were lucky we got a table . I must book ahead next time. Keep it up guys - great job!

Absolutely love Muddy Boots Cafe. The cafe is cosy by day and a stylish, twinkly fun filled ambience on by night. Love all the theme nights, our last was the Jamaican night that Ruddy created. Love everything about the place, great food friendly staff and a team who are bringing some seriously good chefs to Yorkshire. Looking forward to taking part in more events or just nipping in for a Coffee on a rainy winters afternoon. The takeaway sandwiches are delish also.

Been coming here a few years and never been disappointed with the food or drinks. The cheese on toast is awesome and a favourite of many people. Last visit I had beef stew and mustard mash, delicious. Friendly service and good prices in a great location. My Mum loved it too.

What a great experience- fantastic food, extremely friendly and very helpful staff and a wonderful location. We had coffee, then walked the 5 miles Harewood estate circuit after which we were ready for lunch and that definitely didn?t disappoint- it was so delicious.

The menu is varied and interesting and the food itself very good - freshly made. Staff were kind and accommodating. We'd not just go again, but would tailor our walk to include Muddy Boots (and ours were!).

Whilst walking in the area we thought we would grab a quick drink and snack at Muddy Boots. My wife had an espresso and I had a luxury hot chocolate. We also had a cookie and a carrot cake muffin. The staff were very friendly, but we waited 15 minutes for the drinks and when they arrived my hot chocolate was watery and cold. The drinks were not cheap. Espresso was £2.50 and my watery chocolate was £4.50 (or around that mark). The espresso whilst very nice £2.50? I mean come on. Place has potential, but the prices need to be more realistic.

Visited Muddy Boots after having a walk to see the stags. We had a coffee each and shared a biscuit brownie (which was gluten free) The brownie was absolutely incredible! It was a lovely decorated cafe and all the staff were lovely (despite us getting there 30 mins before closing, they didn?t rush us at all!) Will definitely return soon!

Went for lunch with my friend and my little dog. Good menu, decor lovely and exceptionally friendly staff. Maybe could make it easier to work out where to sit/ get menus etc on first visit as not obvious to a newbie. Would definitely recommend though, and really dog-friendly.

Whilst the food is reasonable, the organisation of the space and service is not good and dogs in cafes- not a good trend. Shaking their coats next to your lunch. Anyone who came here when Keith was running the place will know that the place is just not what it was. The café used to have a nice laid back atmosphere, lots of menu choice, dogs were restricted to the one room, there were sofas and pictures of the red kites on the walls, locally made cakes and Keith's Christmas cake! Cakes could be seen on show and the service, although not brilliant, was better than now. We don't visit anymore.
