It?s not often that I need to go to see a GP and I am genuinely unsure as to the procedure and protocol to even book an appointment to see one these days-hence my decision to drop into the surgery to unravel the mystery. I understand the paperless office revolution to maximise office efficiency but I was not prepared for the desolate ? will the last person out please switch the lights off and lock the door? decor and atmosphere .The place literally looks as if it is ready to be closed down. The decor aside, my biggest concern is that in order to make any headway I was required to go into detail regarding my medical conditions in the foyer in full earshot of other prospective patients diligently waiting in the queue behind me. This simply to give enough detail to pass on to an assessment team who will use the information to decide if my issues are sufficiently important enough to warrant a face to face audience with the Emperor of the Emerald City!I don?t feel angry- I just feel hopeless .

Can someone tell me why I?m having to use the nhs app to book an appointment but the only option you can pick is for a blood test?! I don?t want a blood test I want to speak to a GP! Pay a fortune in taxes yet I can?t get to see a doctor or a nurse!

Wow, just joined this shocking establishment and have soon realised why their reviews are so poor. Spoke to these 3 x times all with equally appalling results. 1st call spoke to the receptionist who confirmed a call was scheduled but it wouldn?t necessarily be in the morning and to wait. Called back early afternoon and told a similar response that a call was scheduled and to be patient. Called again for a third time and was told that no one would be calling after all and directed me to the nearest walk-in centre. When asked what this wasn?t explained on any of the other calls, the 2nd receptionist had emailed me to advise. Superbly shocking patient welfare here. Why not call me to explain? It makes no sense that anyone would be sat at a pc monitoring their personal emails when feeling so ill and being told a call would be made. Where is the patient wellbeing? Asked Della (3rd call) for the complaints process and still nothing has been sent through. Formal complaints process will be made through the right channels. You hear horror stories about shockingly bad service at GP surgeries, I?ve never had to experience this?.until now.

Only same day appointments, its no good for people that work.. the phone lines have a 2hr wait in the mornings. They tell you to go to the walk in centre instead of being able to book in an appointment. The walk in centre told me to see my GP. I'm so tired of being passed from pillar to post. All I want is a doctor to look at my injured finger for 5 mins.The receptionist told me nobody else has a problem with it. I guess that's why they have so many amazing reviews.

After being told to buy a blood pressure machine so I could check my own blood pressure and to book an appointment as my blood pressure was reading high on a review I did so and was reading very high after following nhs guidelines on their website I?ve been calling and calling and being on hold , after speaking to a call centre they filled an online assessment form and I?ve been now waiting to speak to a doctor !!! And still nothing I?ve been sent a link to send over my blood pressure readings and I?ve now been told after phoning the call centre again they have decided that I routine appointment in 2 weeks is fine, it wasn?t until I because irrate that they asked if I had any symptoms but again still NO doctor has spoke to me !! I find this absolutly DISCUSTING

Feel fobbed off to use this surgery because my own couldn't be bothered or couldn't offer me an appointment. NHS in general is broken.

Why when someone needs to book an appointment non are ever available yet when you actually go to the doctors location (pinfold lane) the car park is empty, the waiting room is empty.You have no care for patients in the area. You have 5 possibly 6 healthcare locations in the area but they are all empty, you either force people to fill in a useless online form to be told you need to ring at 8am on the day to book an apportionment. The lines are always busy, staff are rude and ask questions only doctors should be asking.Plus if you?re not on the dole you can?t always ring at 8 am as you have a job to do.Why can?t you book an appointment for tomorrow or even next week anymore?Phone appointments, what can a doctor see from a phone call, you just tell them what you think and they give you a sick note or prescription as to what ?you? think the problem is.An absolute joke of a company that many hard working people pay into. You are robbing the NHS of hardworking people ls money and not living up to the standards the area needs or requires.Yours services are terrible and you should be shut down.

Their diary only seems to work for one day at a time. Apparently its impossible to book appoints for later dates, you must book on the day when they don't have any appalments left or just don't answer to phone. Here's a crazy idea, allow bookings for later dates too so people actually get to see a doctor? A blatant tactic to palm you off onto another surgery, hospital, or hope you just don't call back!

This used to be a good doctor's surgery. Now they're part of Heath Care First. Almost impossible to get an appointment, telephone calls left unanswered, online systems that don't work and staff that are genuinely uninterested and obstructive. I can't remember the last time I saw a health care professional at this practice... If you're lucky enough to get an appointment it will be at one of the Castleford surgeries or perhaps Ferrybridge or Pontefract. Giving one star because I can't give zero. This is a real shame.

What happened to duty of care?Yesterday I called Pinfold about my ADHD assessment they were so reluctant to help and I told them I'm suicidal! Didn't get anything back so I shouted and hung up!I came today for a blood test crying and panicking and extremely unsettled.I was crying and said I have an appointment the receptionist went just sign in on that monitor!!!Not are you ok? Nothing.They just all carried on talking between them all.I sat in the waiting room, even heard two people discuss between them to check if I was OK.Members of staff walking past and entering the room doing nothing.Ms Prudhoe called my name. It was clear as day how unsettled I was crying and panicking.Not crying or panicking over the blood test as they don't bother me in the slightest. However she didn't even ask.All she said was your hear for some bloods, sit there, took my blood and went all done!Did she ask if I was OK? No?From my personal experience the NHS are failing me!

My Mum has had blood results,they?ve said to make appointment she?s rang up and called in, finally got through and they said a doctor would call,the phone rang twice and that was it!We can?t even find out what was wrong with her bloods, this has also happened before so we went private as we couldn?t get an appointment,The surgery is a complete shambles

My 80 year old mum was referred for a blood test on Wednesday at Methley and was told she would be contacted if she needs any further treatment. We ended up ringing the doctors on Friday to be told yes she needs a further appointment booking from her blood test results. This is the problem bit , no appointment today she said so ring back Tuesday ?. No phone call from doctors and shocking service in general.
