Girl at the checkout (Amina) was too busy chatting to her friend behind the desk to realise she has left the security tag in the dress I bought.
I now have to go all the way back to Leeds to have it taken out as my local new look doesn't have the correct machine to take it off.
Complete inconvienence!

I?ve been to many New Look stores so have a pretty good idea of what to expect re layout and products. I have to say that this New Look seems rather dark and oppressive. Even though it is large and has plenty of space between displays etc.
I?m wondering if this is an aspect of the shopping centre rather than New Look?
I did like the range of new summery clothes but one of the broderie anglais dresses, available in several colours, was displayed in different colours in various locations throughout the store rather than putting all the colour ways in one place.
I didn?t notice many staff on the shop floor.

You need more staff on checkouts even when it?s quieter! Twice now the shop is quiet but been waiting ten minutes! Customers walking away not able to wait that long too

If I could give one star I definitely would today I was in new look and I saw a worker following two young girls 10-11 saying they was shoplifting after one off the girls said They wasn?t he continued to rag her back by her hair after this he took her outside and ragged open her bag and said I want my jewellery back after finding no jewellery he continued to take all the little girls shopping including primark stuff such as dry shampoo , skincare and fake tan and some over stuff . The little girl was wearing a wig and after he pulled it it come off slightly this made the little girl very upset which lead her to walk off without her shopping which then he continued to shout im ringing the police on you.as a woman that likes new look I am appalled by this behaviour and most definitely won?t be coming back due to this disgusting behaviour by this staff member I?m totally appalled !

Horrible experience!!!! I was at new look today around 2 -4 pm and I saw this old man following these little girls around for an 5 minutes and as they was looking around they didn?t see any they liked and wanted to leave so they was walking out the shop and this old man disguised as a normal shopper shouted I want all the jewellery out your bag and these little girls who their mum was waiting out side what? And one girl walked away to go get home mum but they other little girls who their around 10 stopped and spoke to the guy but walked off a second later then the man decided to pull the girls hair which you could see what a wig and it lifted up as the girl was in embarrassment she walked away and the the man screamed I?m ring the police on you leaving the girl with the wig with no bag and none of her shopping this is horrible to watch I will never be coming back to new look I love newlook but it was so cruel how a person could do that to a little girl ???

I went today to pick my click and collect order up today the bag was completely ripped my click and collect order was hanging out of it, I asked for a bag rude staff there charged for a bag when she knew the click and collect parcel was completely ripped from the bag soooo rude I don?t know her name she had long brown hair worked on ground floor tills avoid her at all purposes.

I?m giving one star on behalf of my 67 year old mum. Yesterday 27 January 2024 around 5:50 pm she had a horrible experience in this shop, which ruined her entire day in the city . It was her day off and she was enjoying a bit of shopping. New look used to be one of her favourite shops, but these two staff were so rude. One was a security man and the other was a sales assistant. Once she walked in the alarm beeped , as she was coming out their alarm beeped again. There was absolutely no reason for this as she didn?t even touch anything in this shop and didn?t have any tags left from previous shops. Once the security man approached my mum she herself offered to show him the contents of her bags ( she had all of the receipts for everything she bought that day as well) , but she wanted to get everything out herself as she has a phobia of others touching her things with their hands (OCD). Then sales assistant intervened and started shoving her hands in to mums bag and rummaging all over. Once they understood that they made a mistake and that she did nothing wrong instead of apologising the security man told mum that it?s his job ( which mum totally understands ) and told mum to stop being rude! This is the point that really offended my mum as she is the nicest person you could meet and he made her feel like a naughty little girl when she is 67 and is a very nice and respectful person. The staff acted unprofessionally, rude and disrespectful. Not even an apology from either of them for stopping her in the first place. (She walked around other shops with the same contents of her bags and the alarm did not beep in any other shop but new look , which makes her feel that perhaps she was targeted on purpose.
