Went for breakfast terrible. The sausage and bacon undercooked. Came like warm. The coffee was nice. The poached eggs were awful.

Dirty cups lipstick! Sent back coffee and waited 10 minutes for replacement.Tables not cleared. Sulky inofficiemt staff. NEVER AGAIN.

Whatever has happened to Marks and Spencer?s cafes? The queues are long so people are obviously putting up with it but why on earth do they not provide saucers with an expensive cup of tea? And when we asked for extra hot water it was put in a paper cup?and we were told they are not allowed to use pots for hot water?ridiculous!

If I could score this cafe with a minus I would!! Dreadful experience today. Queues were very long and tables were available out on the verandah but no one was getting seated. We had to queue up to join another permitted queue to be seated and served. When I finally got into the ?chosen few? queue and ordered, there were no cups or teaspoons. Nor were there any trays to put the food on. The barista was doing his best but it was obvious that he had received very little if any training and both baristas present spoke very little English so were struggling. Admittedly it was a busy day but staffing was minimal and M&S clearly are making enough profit to employ more staff!! Our coffees were small - mainly comprising of foam and mine tasted of marzipan- not what I expect from a latte which makes me question the cleanliness of the cup!! The scones were old and tough! The man behind me cancelled his order when he was told it would take fifteen minutes to fulfil - a bowl of soup- really?? I would have thought it was the simplest of jobs to pour it into a dish. The whole debacle was unacceptable and badly organised!! I?m very disappointed and will not return.

Called in for a coffee . Lady cleared the table but didnt wipe the table .Pulled out the chair to find crumbs of cake on the chair . Also needed a teaspoon for stirring in my sugar and had to queue up to get one leaving my coffee going cold .I have used this cafe many times over the years but this time seemed not up to standard for Mark's and Spencers.

If your hungry and want hot food, DONT BOTHER coming here. Ordered Avocado on toast, after 20 minutes of waiting, I asked a member of staff to chase my order. 5 minutes later another staff member asked what I had ordered. At this point and still without any sign of food, I asked for a refund. No apologies from anyone. Even working out how to refund me took way longer than it should have. M & S food is lovely, however I will be eating it at home from now on!

Visiting Leeds for the first time and couldn't fknd the shop that I wanted ,asked a lovely M&S assistant if she could help .She was fabulous and so very kind .My feet were dropping off as we had waljed aroind and around Leeds a couple of times .She told me exactly where this shop was and found it in 10minutes .Thank you so much Jill .An excellent member of staff?

This is by far the worst Marks & Spencer?s cafe that I ever visited , the service is Extremely Slow , cutlery dirty , tables left with dirty plates etc , thus hampering people from sitting down . I my opinion all of the staff require retraining , Not the normal M & S standard . 1 Star .

e was visiting Leeds today ,for a day out shopping,so we came into the M&S ,Plenty of staff ,so why was there only one person serving,the service was so slow people were turning away,we got cake and tea but no saucers and the milk was in an expreso cup?? The all cafe was a mess

There are two cafés in the department. 2nd floor cafe has an outdoor area. Cakes and coffee is good!

Saturday 15:00, food side slaw came complete with one big black hair on it. Untidy tables. Scruffy and very busy. Refund offered , but not a replacement food item.

Often come here with Mum as she likes coming here. It's reasonably priced. The staff are very nice and helpful. You can end up queuing for a long time when you are paying though. And I do find the cakes a bit too sweet.

My wife and I regularly do groceries shopping here and staffs are nice and kind! They also sell quality clothes as well and I have several outers from here. The prices are reasonable here given the quality of them is quite good.
