Basic but adequate and better than the noisy concourse! ?

A great fan of the train service but this lounge really disappointed. The member of staff in charge of the lounge was constantly on her phone and provided no hospitality or customer care. I was asked to scan my own ticket while she continued her private conversation on the phone.
There was no food available (not even biscuits or crisps). The only cold drinks available were bottles of still or sparking water. The coffee machine was working.
The lounge was not tidy with litter/empty cups left out. The toilet had not been cleaned for some time.
Thankful the crew on my train were excellent.

Small lounge but it does the job if you can get in.
Good coffee (one machine out of order though), cold bottled water available as well as crisps and some nice biscuits.
It's located near the ticket office before going through the barriers

Functional and mostly quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of the main concourse. The front desk was unmanned for the entirety of our time in the lounge. Travellers were having to clear away used cups from tables. WiFi "currently unavailable". Coffee not hot and machine needing maintenance. Crisp selection ready salted or ready salted. More of a mediocre experience than a first class experience.

Basic simple Lounge which gets you away from the crowds. Simple snacks also available. Friendly and helpful staff.

Tea , coffee ??, water ?, biscuits ? and crisps all complementary while inside (says you can?t take with you) fair enough. Could do with a bit of TLC decor wise and upholstery too.

This was a great place to wait. Rather officious person guarding the door but once they had checked my ticket all good. Nice coffee with crisps and water too. comfortable with loos nearby which were spotless.

Nice relaxing place to wait for connecting trains, hot drinks via machine, and cold in a fridge. Snacks available all to be eaten in lounge areas

Everything you need to chill prior to travelling. Free tea, coffee, water, crisps and biscuits. A clean environment. Peace and quiet. Friendly staff and it's free. Enjoy ???

Generally speaking, I think LNER are a good line and offer a quality service on the whole. However, a few weeks back I witnessed the uniformed lady with the headband in the photograph ignore a member of the public (man with an asian/Indian accent) who said excuse me to her multiple times while she stood next to the LNER point in Leeds strain station next to platform 8. Eventually she turned to him and snapped 'what do you want?' Now, I don't know any customer facing role that would class that as an acceptable way to address a member of the public and potentially paying customer. I think she was working for LNER or Leeds Station staff.
