New Store looks amazing, brilliantly laid out.
Unfortunately we decided not to spend as long as we wanted to look round as the music was ridiculously too loud. There are no issues with the type of music or anything like that, just too loud to spend a decent amount of time shopping in there.

This store isn't autism friendly 1 bit the music is way too loud feels like you're in a club took my son in to try find him some trainers and he is autistic didnt even get through the door as the noise of the music way too loud asked a staff member if it could be turned down as my son is autistic stood there 15 minutes never came back to me rude staff

A worker called Katie or kacey I can?t remember she had blonde hair and was very nice and was determined to find my shoes on such a busy day like Boxing Day and in the end we found them

Very poor experience. Took my daughter for new trainers. Lots of untrained staff standing around looking busy but not busy. A couple of staff run of their feet doing all the work.
Had to keep randomly checking different trainers for stock in size 2. Finally found 2 pairs for my daughter to try. Waited over an hour, trainers still didn't arrive. Staff scan the shoes, they tell you if they are in stock, then they leave you. No staff asked if we were okay. No management or supervisors on the floor.
When I approached staff to ask where the trainers where, as my daughter had been waiting over an hr. They just replied we will have to check the stock again. Did that and the trainers she wanted were no longer available.
We left the store, walked straight across to sketchers and were served within 3 mins. Stock available and staff were very professional.
I would give this store zero stars only I did see 2 staff members run of there feet helping customers and checking if their shoes had arrived.

Friday December 20, 2024 an hour and a half to pay, do you want to stress yourself out? You can come here. Unfriendly staff. I do not recommend wasting your time here.

What a place! (And not in a good way). Loads of staff but no one to help you. Chaotic layout and not clear how to check if things in stock, we waited next to a couple of staff dealing with other customers but no acknowledgement, then I spotted the till area with the slide that throws the ugg boxes straight off (yes we were waiting there that long I saw many land on the shop floor). Went over, checked shoes, lovely, will be 3 minutes. Shoes arrived, and we said I think they are ours as someone took them, back and forth several times. Someone finally asked if we would like to pay here, said would get a device and wandered off with the shoes only to come back and chuck them in the return pile. At this point I said to my teens I?d had enough so ordered them online whilst stood at the counter. Unbelievable!

Extremely helpful staff at the new JD store in whiterose. I'm sure they'll remember me from this review, I was there almost 2 hours sorting a return which I paid for via klarna. The issue lay with klarna and not the store but they did they're best to resolve it for me. Thank you for your time and your patience. I didn't catch the name of the manager who came down to help but the young lady at the till, Lily, was extremely patient and helpful. Thank you very much

No ventilation; it was like a dry sauna. I doubt I'll be coming back. I'd rather go to Deichman or Foot Asylum, where the ventilation was actually working. I don't know how the staff were still able to do their jobs.
