The people on the desk are awful. I just stand there until they eventually bother to look at me. Every time I ask for an appointment for one of my children they just say we'r full, cant even have a phonecall, even at 8.30 in the morning! They always look fed up & like they can't be bothered to speak to you.

Not a patient here but was referred to the eye hospital. Very efficient service and lovely staff. Was worried when i read the other reviews. Was seen and had my medication for a very sore eye within 30 mins. Doctor was thorough and i have a follow up appt in a few days. Loads of parking which takes away some of the worry. Glad i didnt have to go to st james's. Was referred by opticians - not a walk in place. Thank you

I?m new to this area I have tried to book my first appointment the receptionist was so rude and ignoring over the phone she needs a customer service course.

This practice has gone down hill alot since COVID and wasn't that good before, terrible attitude problem's from receptionist, unfriendly, makes you feel like your a problem, AVOID

I moved to the area 1 year ago and had no problems with registering here, I had my first pregnancy with this doctors and always got appointments when needed and the doctors have been amazing and accommodating. Really happy with the service and care I?ve been given.

Fantastic staff and service. It is a very busy practice and the staff go above and beyond to help you. Most recently my son (under 1) needed to be seen. We arrived to request and appointment at 11:30 and we?re seen at 11:45.

I have experienced other surgeries and I can say this surgery is by far much better. The doctors are professional and caring and the receptionists are helpful. I highly recommend this surgery.

I've had quite variable experiences.On the plus side:They usually have my medication in stock, there is plenty of seating in the waiting areas and the toilets are clean and well maintained. The doctors are usually helpful and listen, though the strategy seems to be to dispense a sequence of medications till they hit the target. This is not always a success and has led me to give up on some ailments and just put up with them. I rarely need referring to a different arm of the NHS for tests or a second opinion but they have done this when needed.On the negative side:The website seems a little labyrinthine and hard to navigate.The ambient music and adverts are too loud making it hard to hear the appointment message.Some reception staff are reluctant to attend to patients at the counter, actually walking away and chatting to other staff and I've had the same experience with the staff on the pharmacy desk. They see I am waiting and wander off even though they have been quite happy to chat to the person ahead of me in the queue.I suffered chronic sleeplessness for years after being prescribed Tramadol for pain and the doctor never connected this with the Tramadol. Once I stopped taking Tramadol I had no problems sleeping.There seems to be a high staff turnover too as I rarely see the same staff twice. I am trying to get my nominated pharmacy changed to another one but this seems to be a problem despite two requests.I shall keep trying.

Receptionists aren't friendly , they are arrogant and patronising. GPs are useless: they didn't help me at all with my perimenopause and menopause symptoms. I sat crying a couple of times talking to 2 different GPs, explaining how stressed and anxious I was about my terrible migraineswhihc lfet me unable to care for me or my child from 3 am till 10 pm in bed not being able to get up or eat. One of the GPS suggested putting me on anti depressants . She thinks my constant tiredness and exhaustion is due to depression . The only thing that depresses me is the incompetence of the doctors at the surgery. I am now seeing a kinesiolog ist: all my health issues are due to inflation in my body. I have been told to stop eating gluten and take zinc picolinate due to live issues caused by stress. I am no longer tired nor do I have terrible migraines . This is just the start of my journey towards recovery and healthy life but I can't say that the GPS have helped in any way . They aren't even helping me with my child's obesity issues . I will try to change surgery as soon . If someone in the Adel or coockridge area can let me know which one is best . Shame on you doctors . And you call yourself doctors . All you do is hand us out medication that slowly kill us

Your average GP practice. Some good staff, some not so. Don't be scared to try different staff if need be. Can be a delay getting appointments but that is the new normal due too few professional staff available , worsening funding and commissioning. People generally all wear masks when here.

I walked into the surgery today to try and get a placement there as I have just moved to the area the receptionist was very nasty and seemed very unapproachable and did not help me with the forms she was trying to give me as I struggle with reading and writing and have recently had a brain injury she just said your going to have to ask someone and I asked her to help me as I don?t have anyone to help and she told me no I was very upset about this and I will not be going back to that doctors! They need to get some new receptionist in there and manners cost £0! This really needs looking into by the looks of the rest of the reviews... my doctors explained it would be a good surgery to move to he must of just been on about the new building! Reception absolutely appalling!!!!!!! Hopefully this gets taken into account. A smile and a helpful welcome cost not a pence! Ireland wood surgery sort it out!

Just spoke with such a rude receptionist. I asked where I can get medical advice as no appointments left for the day and got told I had since 7am to call... unfortunately my son wasn?t so unwell at 7am this morning. Whilst I understand there?s a limited amount of appointments for the day there?s no need to be so unpleasant and judgemental (we?ve been running since 7am you could have called before). Oh and the phone got slammed in my face without a goodbye. And I didn?t get told where to call for advice. Useless service
