Lovely room for performances, but since they changed the entrance the reception areas and bars are very much diminished; much poorer than when they used a bar in the Grand. Disappointing.

The Room is a really special venue. It looks stunning, great acoustics and a stage large enough to fit a lot of people on. It can be configured in a very flexible variety of seating options.

Very good venue for interesting artists and events. There is a small bar for pre-show and interval drinks, but not food. Parking nearby is easy to find, and not overly expensive for evening shows. Toilets were excellent.

Howard Assembly Room is a great venue for intimate performances. My husband and I have been enjoying the place ever since we moved to Leeds. We went to see different concerts and artists and were never disappointed. My understanding is it was recently renovated and I think it definitely benefited the place. You can still see and appreciate the old building and its structure yet it?s well lit up and has wide staircase and an elevator. The seating is new and convenient which helps you relax and focus on the stage. The staff is always polite and helpful. Great place all around.

Turned up a bit late for a salsa gig (9:10pm, hardly like it was midnight) and was told I couldn't pay on the door because "the Box Office was closed". Very poor, hope I won't be coming to this venue again anytime soon.

A really nice events venue. The acoustics inside are very good and it really allows listeners to feel part of the performance. There are also plenty of facilities and places to get bar snacks and drinks.

Watched Mokoomba here and enjoyed the remarkable architecture of the space. The bars were somewhat overcrowded and small but the gig experience was great although the speaker orientation meant that there were gaps in the sound
