“My stay at Dakota Hotel in Leeds was very good, with a comfortable and well-appointed room that met my expectations. However, the lack of on-site parking is a notable downside. The nearest parking option, QPark, is conveniently close, but the 15-minute journey to reach it is a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the fact that parking is chargeable adds to the overall cost of the stay. Despite the parking situation, the positive aspects of the hotel, including the quality of the room and the overall experience, contribute to a satisfactory stay.Noteworthy details: no onsite parking”

Everything went to plan and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It was stunning, gorgeous and the best day we have ever had! Thank you everybody but especially Tim and Antonia, the day would not have been as good if it was not for you! Thank you ❤️”

“What a wonderful 2 night stay. From the moment we drove in it felt relaxing. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was spotless. The breakfast room staff were helpful and the selection and quality of food could not be faulted. The Club Lounge was a welcome retreat too we will certainly be back to stay again. We enjoyed the use of the spa facilities too. At a time where some hotels are cutting corners to save money I feel that the Crown Plaza has it just right. Well Done to all staff.”

“I just wanted to leave a special mention for Sheree the lovely lady on reception who truly went above and beyond during our stay. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with such warmth and genuine kindness that we immediately felt at home. She was incredibly helpful, whether it was offering local recommendations, assisting with last-minute requests, or simply taking the time to check in with a smile each day.

It’s rare to come across someone who so clearly takes pride in making guests feel welcome and cared for. Her professionalism, patience, and personal touch made a real difference to our experience. Thank you for going the extra mile — you are a credit to the hotel and we’ll remember your kindness fondly!”

“A wonderful experience here, excellent customer service. Stayed for a few nights and no complaints. A bit of a drawback with the fact that there is no room service or food, but that was easily remedied by the fast food and supermarkets within walking distance. 5 stars!Always remember to check your car in so you don't get a fine.”

“This is the best possible location for a hotel! It's so close to Trinity mall and the enormous City Centre. I loved our room with two beds, it was just right for our little family. We stayed here for a week in July 2023. The breakfast buffet was delightful, and my favorite person was the lady that had the East End accent. Absolute dolls. This hotel has excellent air conditioning, which is important for a big, sweaty American like me. The gym had a peloton bike and plenty of water for our flask refills.”

“Stayed here for 11 nights. Cheap and cheerful. It's not a fancy place, but for me it was a great stay as I was visiting relatives who were a 5 minute drive from there, and was getting over jetlag (came from the states). There's not MUCH to do walking distance from there, but there are a few restaurants and places to pick up food as well as bus stops nearby. I'm diabetic and have meds that required a fridge, so I asked if they had one and they lent me one for my stay. Family members are friendly and helpful, room was clean even if a bit worn around the edges, and they respected my request that they NOT clean it during my stay (which is my preference). I stayed on a ground floor room fit for 2 people max (no dogs, there's a room across the hall that they allow folks with dogs to use), and a very small but efficacious ensuite bathroom (with an old fashioned sink where the hot and cold come out of separate taps). There's an old fashioned heater in there that you set yourself by turning a handle, and the bed is comfy and it's blanket was warm ...and the room had a window that is set up high, and opens to the alley between the hotel building and the private home where the owners live (if you want fresh air). The shower looked a little scary (its tiny and you can see under it) but it worked well enough, with hot water and decent water pressure. I liked it so much that I've been telling other family members about it for when we visit my uncle who lives nearby. (Oh, and if you look at google maps and see a Tesco across the street, which I got very excited about when booking the place, that's an error on Google's part; the Tesco is down a the street a few blocks away)”

“A functional hotel near Leeds City Centre. Our quad room was functional and quiet for our 2 night stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good english breakfast available for additional charge. Parking is available for an additional £6 per 24 hrs.A 15min walk into Leeds City Centre where you'll find many shops, covered shopping malls and museums. Beware that most museums are closed on Mondays.Though there was some floor noise from upstairs room on our 2nd night it was not a problem. But if the guest above is very noisy, you are likely to be disturbed.”

“Me and 2 friends stayed for 1 night last night (16th march) arrived by a friendly receptionist, happy to help and also reassured us when the hotel was unmanned during the night that security would be happy to help, lovely room, prefect location with only a stone throw away from nightclubs shops and the train station. We have all said we will definitely recommend and would defiantly use the hotel again if we visit Leeds again.Rooms: Clean and spacious.Nearby activities: It is clear the area is very much about the nightlife which ia great for the location of the hotel.Safety: When the hotel was unmanned during the night we was given reassurance that security would be there if we did need anything.Walkability: Very close to all shops, nightlife and the train station.”

“Nice little budget hotel close to the centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. No tea/coffee making equipment in the rooms but reasonably priced drinks available at reception. We had some noisy 'neighbours' but nothing too problematic. Overall, worth the price and the room was very pleasant and clean.”
