We contacted helping hands to get some help with my Mum recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. They have been great in terms of flexibility and understanding the need. The local team including management are very professional and caring and the carer has been amazing and really helped support the family. Definitely recommend Helping Hands

Not honest around start dates. Start a simple package of care I am nearly 3 weeks then I need to be told that there will be a further three week delay. This is not good way to run a care provider supporting people at the highest point of need and often with carers on the brink of carers breakdown. There are better more reliable services around in the local area who also charge less I have as good a CQC rating.

I have been and am very pleased with the care my Mother has received from Helping Hands. The organisation is reliable and flexible and will implement additional care and support at short notice if circumstances change. Communication is excellent as I receice a rota twice a week which informs me the times the carers are schedule to visit. If the times do not suit then a call to the administrative staff at the local branch will rectify this. All the carers I have met have been polite, kind, and have treated Mum with respect and dignity. The organisation is an all rounder and does not just deal with Personal Care. Helping Hands have enabled Mum to live in the comfort and privacy of her own home. They give me peace of mind in the knowledge that if they have any concerns or issues they are brought to my attention immediately.

I love my job, we have lovely clients. The current team in the office is working extremely hard and really do their very best to support me where ever I need it. The only thing I can think of is to give me more travel time. Last but not least.....the pay is really good

Bethany, a dear friend of mine unfortunately fell victim to having her last days cared for by helping hands due to a very stupid family member not doing their homework. A care package was put together and you completely took over and waded in with your heavy hands!!! Over worked carers, some wrong carers provided (that simply didn't fit the bill) one in particular enjoyed lying to cover her own back along with very arrogant self -righteous coordinators/managers who thought they knew best. To sum things up - once you sanction helping hands aka heavy hands to provide care you may as well become a mute...??
