Sadly with a few of the Greggs stores I've been to within the past year or 2, it's as though the staff aren't really bothered about checking it. The pastry is getting drier & often burnt on the sausage rolls.There seems to be lots of staff changes & you often get spoken to very abruptly. And the only atmosphere you can usually pick up on is miserable people because the staff are eager to take your money, give you your order & they want you away from the counter asap.Despite the food being so expensive, you never feel welcome! I wouldn't go as often if my dad wasn't terminally ill. It's easy to stop & grab a bite to eat quickly on the way to sit with him.
