“I was a bit apprehensive about visiting Howarth Timber as it’s not like a ‘normal’ diy store. “I have had brilliant experiences with both the Hunslet and the Armley stores. I got a great sofa and 2 chairs last year and delivery was efficient. The staff are friendly, the prices are great and the selection of furniture is well worth a trip.”

“I was very dubious when I was invited for a meal here with friends as I am a non meat or poultry eater and I know that this place is famous for its quality meat dishes.However there were 2 fish options and a vegetarian option.I opted for the vegetarian and was delighted with the fare. Service was excellent in the lovely dining room with a great atmosphere.I would recommend this restaurant to any one even a fellow non meat eater.”

“Called In to dispute a parking fine the manager was very helpful,it appears there is no thoroughfare rights for traveling to any business on the same shopping complex business park, there is no signage saying no thoroughfare yet an attempt was made to fine me £100, 1000s of people use this rout and have done so for decades,it was a shock when I got this parking fine and it caused substantial stress and anxiety, also taking time up forChris bowen the manager of homebase it's not fair for him and all the people who have only passed through, I'm sure it will get sorted out soon,until then please be patient, thank you Chris”
