If I could have posted a review for minus two stars I would have done. I am a pensioner and decided to buy some flooring from this store 4 weeks ago. So far so good. Then the fitter Liam Armitage arrived a week later to instal. To cut a long story short this man let us down on numerous occasions failing to turn up when he had promised to do so. Three weeks later my floor is still not finished .I even had to collect some flooring on his behalf from the warehouse. When I tried to complain at the branch there was no manager available and no help given.I visited the head office and was met by an extremely unhelpful member of staff called Chris (would not give me his surname) who stated he would get the Area Manager called Lee (would not give me his surname)to call me about my complaint. To date this has not happened and to be honest I do not expect it to happen. I am appalled by the way this company has treated me and wonder how they have managed to stay trading. Management stay under the radar so they cannot be contacted by any customers with issues.My advice to any potential customers thinking of spending their money at Floorstore is not to bother, run a mile away and contact another company who does not treat their customers so shabbily.Further to this review I have been contacted by the Area Manager Lee who has resolved my issue satisfactorily .I would like to apologise to the Regent Street store for posting this review on their website, the store I dealt with is Station Road, crossgates Leeds.

Professional and organised from sale, purchase and collection. Always well looked after. Third set of flooring purchased here. O?Neil and the team are great at what they do.

Quite unhappy. We bought some discount laminate from them -- we were told it was some excess tiles. No refund purchase. Now we have laid it out and some of the tiles are of a different shade from the majority of them. Would have appreciated them being upfront with us. Pic for evidence.EDIT in reply to Floorstore: sorry, this is our fault. We googled the tiles and they are supposed to be a mixed-colour effect. We didn't realise, so they weren't laid out right but that's on us. We bought the tiles from you ages ago, so you can't locate the receipt. I've changed the rating.

AVOID AVOID AVOID . Once they have your money they aren?t interested . We had faults after fitting and had to chase them time and time again, they don?t want to know. The manager is obnoxious and rude. Go elsewhere.

We were bit confused about the type of flooring that we wanted to put on our kitchen & lounge. We ended up here to the Member of staff called O?Neil. He is the man every one of us wanted especially when you look for some advice. He made our selection very easy and explained everything about the types of flooring and what we really wanted for the house at an economic price. Job done within a week and we are super happy! 5 star to the guy O?Neil??

The website is still under construction because there is much more to see instore than there is to see on the website but the quality of the underlay and the carpet is excellent and the carpet fitters where very good and cheap
