Came in to buy a laptop for my daughter who is going to Uni, was initially offered very little help or guidance , was directed to the clearance laptops and that was about it, was about to leave when Callum came over and asked if we needed any help. He was fantastic, and is such an asset to your branch. If Callum hadnt come over this review would have been a 1 star and you would have lost a £700 sale

Went in first thing in the morning with a budget of around £1k to spend on specific items.. Sales guy just simply could not be bothered about any form of customer service. He may have had a bad night the previous night but that's not my problem. Just one example of the can't be bothered attitude - asked about a steam cleaner - he walked me to the irons and stood in front of them asking which one do I want? I was confused why he brought me there - thought from the adverts on TV that the sales people were clued up. An iron is quite different to a steam cleaner! Explained this and got a lacklustre response, eventually told him which one I wanted - he went in the back, got something completely different *twice the price ( i found out later)and came back out and said this is all we've got and then tried giving me that.
Walked back to the till waiting for the other items to be sorted - then thought, Im a customer, want to be treated properly ( not the American style).Just a friendly face and he couldn't be bothered. Decided then just to walk - stuff them! Never again in this store!

I had a mixed experience with Currys over the past couple of days. I went into store to collect a fan I had ordered online, but unfortunately it wasn?t ready due to system issues. A staff member (I didn?t catch his name) was very helpful and explained the situation clearly. He advised me to purchase the fan again in-store so I wouldn?t leave empty-handed, which I appreciated and did.
The next day, I returned to the store to get a refund for the duplicate fan. Unfortunately, the customer service at the returns desk was disappointing. The staff member, Claire, was noticeably unhelpful and came across as quite miserable throughout the entire interaction. When I explained the situation, she initially refused the refund on the basis that the item was bought in-store and not online, even though I only made the in-store purchase because their systems were down.
Eventually, she did process the refund, but made it feel like I was the problem rather than someone simply trying to resolve an issue caused by Currys? own technical difficulties. Even a small comment I made about moving into a new flat was met with no acknowledgement or friendliness ? not even a smile. The whole experience felt unnecessarily cold and unwelcoming.
While I appreciated the help I received initially, the lack of basic customer service at the returns desk left a bad impression. I hope Curry?s addresses this, as it really undermines the efforts of the staff who are actually trying to help customers.

Rude and unhelpful staff. Had to wait a long time for someone to come to the till and when they did they carried on a conversation with someone else and clearly couldn't be bothered to help me.

Seemed like not enough staff available. There weren?t many customers in the shop however waiting time was 25mins just to get some assistance for our purchase? the customer service was not pleasant as well? We decided to leave the shop unfortunately
